Overview
The Production Planning Order Progress Agent is an AI-powered agent that helps production planners monitor sales orders, production orders, and process orders in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, using natural language in Joule. Beyond basic status retrieval, the agent can check for coverage issues across all levels of an order structure to identify the component shortages and delays that put order fulfillment at risk. It identifies component dependencies to analyze the full pegging structure of each order, tracing issues from the top-level component of an order down to the specific component causing the problem. It provides an immediate, structured view of supply chain risks without manual navigation through pegging trees and helps determine actions to resolve issues. Please note: This agent is currently only available for eligible customers enrolled within a corresponding EAC program.
