The prestigious SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success celebrate and recognize customers who have excelled in the implementation of their SAP software solutions by using SAP's ten quality principles to:

  • Effectively plan, execute and manage their implementations.

  • Achieve fast, low-cost implementations – and meet today’s demand for rapid time to value.

  • Simplify business processes and deliver significant business benefits to their organization.

Award Categories

Find out which of the award categories best fits your implementation profile.

All SAP customers with successful implementations of any SAP product can submit a nomination for the SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success as long as they have gone live and been in productive use between two and eighteen months prior to submission.  The project size, duration and effort as well as the solution(s) in scope should be considered in order to determine the most appropriate category.

Rapid Time to Value

Two of the three criteria should be met in order to apply in this category:

  • <  600 users.

  • <  7 months project duration.

  • <  1.000 person days estimated implementation effort *.

Business Transformation

Two of the three criteria should be met in order to apply in this category:

  • >  500 users.

  • >  6 months project duration.

  • >  900 person days estimated implementation effort *.

Sustainability

These two criteria should be met in order to apply in this category:

  • Use cases (preferably with an active deployment) of at least one of the solutions of SAP’s Cloud for Sustainable Enterprises (SAP Sustainability Portfolio).

  • Measurable impact on at least one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and on the company’s business performance.

SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success Winner Benefits

  • Gain recognition within their own organization for best-in-class project excellence.

  • Gain recognition in the SAP community as a thought leader for implementation best practices and collaboration around quality.

  • Ease financing for future IT projects.

  • Will be celebrated in external announcements and participate in press activities with their local SAP market unit.

  • Have the opportunity to attend the SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success ceremony.

  • Receive an SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success winner logo for use on the winning organization’s website and in external communications.

  • Receive an SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success winner plaque.

  • Market Unit Winners also automatically qualify for entry to the regional SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success. The date of the next regional SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success is yet to be determined.

* The 2021 cycle was the last Regional Winner competition. Starting in 2023, the Quality Award will only be a local Award in the MEE countries.

Eligibility and Criteria

If your organization is based in or has been served by one of the following SAP market units / geographies, you can apply for the SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success:

  • Austria

  • Central and Eastern Europe (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan)

  • Germany

  • Italy

  • Switzerland (no cycle in 2026)

Entry and Evaluation Criteria

How to apply

  2. Download and preview the questionnaire (A German version will be available within the nomination tool). Instructions on how to fill the questionnaire is available in the nomination portal.
  3. Submit your nomination online.
  4. Access your draft or submitted nomination.

Timeline

The table below will be updated with the key dates for each SAP market unit once confirmed. When the submission period is closed for the confirmed SAP market units, the shortlisted candidates will present their projects in a 45 minute virtual session to an independent judging panel to determine the winners.
