Use Dev SAPUI5 to develop responsive, enterprise-ready web apps running in the browser of your choice. The downloads are to be installed on a personal workstation for offline development by a single developer only. A server snapshot (also known as SAP Kernel Snapshot) is a feature available since SAP NetWeaver ABAP Kernel 740 which dumps the most important server information automatically when the system is in an abnormal situation, e.g. request handling without progress. The information saved in snapshots is useful for performing root cause analysis of system abnormal behaviors. The kernel snapshot analyzer is a lightweight Java tool developed by SAP Support to analyze SAP Kernel relevant issues using server snapshots. It parses the snapshots from snapshot files or dev traces and generates HTML-based analysis reports. It highly simplifies the root cause analysis for SAP NetWeaver ABAP Kernel relevant issues and makes the troubleshooting experience easier and more user-friendly.

This tool can be used dynamically to retrieve metadata from DI API installed on local machine. It can freely switch during different versions of DI API. It provides these functions:

• list all DI objects and services supported by current selected DI API version,
• export schema of a DI object or a service's param object,
• generate XML sample code for an object schema or a service schema,
• perform DI call, DI service call, or simple call via XML payload (XML string or an XML file),
• generate XML infrastructure for B1i payload of a DI call, a service call, or a simple call, and
• generate XML payload of B1i for an object or a service.
