Frequently asked questions

An SAP cloud contract consists of four building blocks: an order form, cloud service description, data processing agreement, and general terms and conditions. The order form, data processing agreement, and general terms and conditions apply to any cloud service on SAP’s pricelist while the cloud service description is a product-specific collection of documents.

If you have an auto-renewal contract, no action is required to continue your subscription.

 

If you have an active renewal contract, work with your SAP representative to execute a renewal contract.

 

Review your contract to understand renewal steps and deadlines before its expiration date. Your SAP representatives are ready to assist you throughout the process.

 

How to review your cloud subscriptions in the self-service portal SAP for Me:

  1. Sign in using your S-User ID and password. For help, see more information about access and authorizations.
  2. On the left side of the screen, click Finance and Legal Dashboard.

 

Request full cloud contract termination in the self-service portal SAP for Me:

  1. Sign in using your S-User ID and password. For help, see more information about access and authorizations.
  2. On the left side of the screen, click Finance and Legal Dashboard.
  3. Find the Contract ID associated with the subscription you wish to terminate.
  4. Click Manage Contract, then click Terminate.

A service level agreement determines the system availability of the cloud services, defines the service credits in case SAP fails to meet the SLA, and describes the maintenance windows for each cloud service. Access all SLA documents for more information.

A data processing agreement applies to SAP cloud services that process personal data. It ensures that your personal data is adequately protected and defines SAP’s obligation to maintain applicable certifications.

General terms and conditions contain the legal terms on your usage rights; determine ownership rights to the customer data; and define warranties, limitation of liability, and confidentiality.
