SAP Business Data Cloud delivers intelligent content and curated data products across all lines of business. As a complete solution for data and analytics, it also delivers fully managed capabilities for business data fabric, SAP Business Warehouse modernisation, data engineering, and machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Existing SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud customers can continue their services without interruption. Over time, customers have the option to transition their current solutions to a fully managed solution with SAP Business Data Cloud.

SAP Business Data Cloud is the path forward for current on-premises SAP Business Warehouse application customers. With SAP Business Data Cloud, customers optimise their existing SAP Business Warehouse data by turning it into data products and take advantage of the latest data and AI capabilities, such as bidirectional data sharing and machine learning, while modernising to the cloud.

A business data fabric is an architecture that connects data and context in one governed foundation, serving as the trusted knowledge core for every enterprise application and AI agent. Unlike traditional data management approaches, a business data fabric preserves the meaning behind your data by design, making it foundational for scalable, trustworthy AI. It brings together critical capabilities such as data integration, lakehouse, data products, data marketplace, semantics, knowledge graphs, and modelling into a unified platform without compromising architectural flexibility.

A knowledge core is the central layer of a business data fabric that connects your data, processes, policies, simulations, and semantics into a unified system. It goes beyond a traditional knowledge graph by enabling AI agents to understand how your business actually works, not just what the data says. Without it, AI agents can conflict with each other or optimise for the wrong outcomes.
