Users can define fine grained security and governance policies for data products in the Denodo semantic layer avoiding having to define them at each individual data source, simplifying the security architecture and gaining agility and efficiency in the data delivery process. Policies can be defined at the data product, domain and global levels following a federated data governance architecture and are automatically enforced in the semantic layer.
Load data smartly and efficiently into the SAP HANA database
Load data from any data source using the rich set of available connectors into the SAP HANA database for facilitating data consumption for SAP users expanding the scope of analytics for them. Customers can easily leverage the available connectors and import data views that can be persisted into the SAP HANA database. Users can leverage the SAP HANA database as a cache system for smart query acceleration with significant performance improvements.
Facilitate data discovery, exploration and self-service for business users
The data marketplace allows users to browse, search, and preview available data products across business domains and categories, validate them through rich business context, lineage and data quality indicators. Foster self-service enabling last-mile customization through user-friendly “WSYWYG” data preparation interfaces, query data using business friendly wizards and natural language interfaces based on GenAI.

Allow a powerful integration of SAP solutions including SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud. Denodo leverages powerful connectors such as the BAPI adapter for SAP ECC, the CDS (ABAP) adapter for SAP S/4HANA and the OData connector.
The CDS (ABAP) adapter allows SQL queries against ABAP Core Data Services bringing unrestricted SQL access to all exposed ABAP CDS view entities. Data from different entities can be joined in an ad-hoc fashion and data can be aggregated for analytical queries and consumed by any enterprise tool.
The user can import views from SAP BW/4HANA through the BEx Query interface that can include input parameters. It automatically caches the metadata of SAP BW/4HANA to speed up queries to multidimensional base views.
