Deb Deep Sengupta
President & Managing Director,
SAP Indian Subcontinent

As President and Managing Director of SAP for the Indian subcontinent, Deb Deep is responsible for driving the company’s growth, operations and people strategy across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Deb Deep brings more than two decades of wide-ranging IT and management experience to the role, with a track record of increasing market share, ensuring customer success and leading effective teams. He has been an integral part of SAP India’s leadership team for over a decade and has been instrumental in establishing the SAP brand in India.

In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer of SAP Indian Subcontinent, Deb Deep provided leadership, strategy and direction to drive continuous business improvement and to help exceed revenue and profitability objectives. Prior to this, as Vice President of the Integrated Large Enterprise Business, he doubled the size of the India business, making it the largest Business Unit in India.

Deb Deep was also responsible for building the SME & Channels business for the SAP Indian Subcontinent, rated amongst the top SME businesses within SAP globally, in terms of key metrics such as revenue contribution, profitability, customer and partner satisfaction.

Prior to joining SAP, Deb Deep has held several leadership roles across top global technology organizations like HP and IBM. He completed his Executive Management Program from INSEAD, and also holds an engineering degree.

Rahul Baheti
Chief Operating Officer,
SAP Indian Subcontinent

Rahul provides leadership and direction to SAP’s multi-functional sales and operations organization in India. He and his team work closely in the market unit to build a strong pipeline, ensure solid sales execution, and enhance impeccable customer relations to deliver sustainable and predictable growth

Additionally, Rahul is responsible for execution of SAP’s transformation strategy for Cloud and On-Premise line of businesses, in the market unit, which encompasses India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

In his previous roles within SAP, he was responsible for Business Operations across the Indian Subcontinent with the charter to improve to improve Sales and Operational Excellence, along with developing and owning the entire sales cycle – from strategy to market planning, to execution and monitoring

Rahul brings 20 years of versatile experience in Operations, Strategic Planning, Commercial Structuring and Finance across Manufacturing and IT organizations. Since joining SAP in 2008, Rahul has donned several hats, supporting the business by accelerating growth, optimizing productivity, introducing shared services frameworks and developing pricing structures.

Prior to SAP, Rahul was the Head of Finance for Honeywell Automation in Pune. A qualified Chartered Accountant with a national rank under his belt.

He is currently based in Mumbai with his family.

Krishnan Chatterjee
Chief Customer Officer and Head of Marketing,
SAP Indian Subcontinent

Krishnan Chatterjee is the Chief Customer Officer and Head of Marketing for SAP Indian Subcontinent. He is a core member of the India Senior Executive Leadership team, in charge of driving the company’s transition to become the most innovative Cloud Company powered by HANA with a focus on customers. He will be accountable for developing value centric relationships with customers, overall marketing strategy, demand generation, reputation & loyalty management and end to end pipeline acceleration. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for SAP to establish its leadership as the trusted partner of choice to businesses in India.

Krishnan is a multi-disciplinary business and marketing leader with over two decades of experience across B2C and B2B industries. He incubated zCMO™– a thought-leading offering for CMOs to improve marketing performance in the digital transformation era. As a prominent figure in India’s marketing landscape, he was recognized as one of India’s top 25 digitalist thought leaders at the SAP ACE Awards, 2015. Additionally, he enjoys the privilege of being inducted into Paul Writer’s CMO Hall of Fame, a platform celebrating senior marketers who are developing and enhancing India’s marketing eco-system.

Prior to joining SAP, Krishnan was at HCL, he created and led the Strategic Marketing function and was a founding member of the organization’s Beyondigital™ business unit. During a decade long stint at ITC Ltd he was responsible for some distinguished brand launches including 555, Wills Lifestyle, Wills Sport and the John Players apparel brand which he also led as a business.

Krishnan is an economics graduate from Presidency College, Calcutta and has an MBA in marketing and strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He shares his insights and perspectives on technology, life, music, marketing and more through his blog and also finds expression as the lead vocalist of a band called Contra Band.

Shraddhanjali Rao
Head of Human Resources,
SAP India

As the head of Human Resources for SAP in India, Shraddhanjali Rao provides HR leadership across the region for all entities including R&D and Sales & Services organizations and is a member of the SAP India Leadership Team. Shraddha is responsible for designing and executing the people strategy focusing on Leadership, Talent and Culture to meet the needs of the region’s more than 11000 employees.

Shraddha joined SAP in 2007 and has held multiple roles as a Global and Local HR Business Partner for Development, Services and Support organizations. Additionally, she has also led the Leadership and Diversity and Inclusion charter for SAP’s Products & Innovation Board area.

Prior to joining SAP, Shraddha began her career in 2004, at Tata Consultancy Services where she handled roles in HR Consulting, Organization Design, Corporate Governance and Talent Development.

Shraddha has a Master’s degree in Human Resource & Marketing from T A Pai Management Institute and Executive Management Program from ISB.

Neeraj Athalye
Managing Partner
Platinum Customer Program,
SAP Indian Subcontinent

Neeraj Athalye is the Managing Partner for SAP’s Global Platinum Customer Program. In his role he is responsible for strategy, revenue, and customer success in India. Neeraj has anchored several leadership roles in SAP India since 2003. He is a passionate leader & drives SAP’s growth and innovation strategies across the Indian Sub-Continent. Apart from championing several customer initiatives, he also works with academia and industry to promote new technology adoption.

Neeraj has been working closely with the SAP Eco-system in India to build new GTM’s needed for targeting industry specific business opportunities. GST, i360 are some of the programs he led for India.

Neeraj is a recognized thought-leader on technology & innovation and has been a speaker in several Indian & International industry as well as academic forums. He pursued his mechanical engineering from the University of Pune. Apart from being a technocrat he is an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He has been an entrepreneur and is a mentor for several startups in India.

Anil Khatri
Head (South Asia),
Global IT-client technology and Field IT,
SAP India Subcontinent

Anil Khatri (Anil) is the Head (South Asia) for Global IT-client technology and Field IT at SAP India. In his current role, Anil is responsible for the field operations of the Indian Subcontinent and SEA countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines and drives key global initiatives including location strategy and vendor consolidation.

With more than 18 years of experience, Anil comes with an unparalleled expertise in building diverse IT teams that focus on driving cost effective innovation to deliver high value. Recognized for his innovations in technology, Anil has won several prestigious awards including the TOP CIO 100 award.

Prior to joining SAP, Anil was the Vice President IT with Servier International (Serdia India) and was responsible for building the IT function to fuel Servier’s growth in India. His focus was on creating a responsive team to improve key performance matrices resulting in the strengthening of the top and bottom lines of the business.

Anil holds a Master's in business administration from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in digital electronics

Hemant Dabke
Vice President, Strategic Industries (Federal, State, Public Services, Telecom and BFSI),
SAP Indian Subcontinent

Hemant Dabke leads the Strategic Industries domain at SAP Indian Subcontinent. In his current position, Hemant spearheads a team of talented sales professionals and technical experts to address the automation and digitization needs of Central and State Ministries, Public Services, Public Sector Undertakings, BFSI and Telecom.

With over 22 years of experience in the IT industry, Hemant brings diverse experience of working with start-ups, setting up growth factories, incubating businesses and supersizing them with focus on delivering industry leading profitable growth. This cross domain work experience makes him knowledge richer.

Prior to joining SAP, Hemant was at Tech Mahindra heading the Enterprise Business for key growth and innovation markets like India, SAARC and Malaysia. Earlier in his career, Hemant worked extensively with Microsoft India for over a decade across the broad spectrum of client facing roles.

Hemant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Pune University. Beyond his corporate life, he takes keen interest in community work and mentors young talent for organizational business and leadership roles.

Amit Khandelwal
Vice President,
Head of Digital Business Services,
SAP Indian Subcontinent

Amit Khandelwal is Vice President, Head of Digital Business Services (DBS) for SAP Indian Subcontinent. With over 17 years of experience in the IT industry, he is widely acknowledged for his expertise in sales leadership and passion for nurturing new businesses.

In his current role, Amit leads both Support and Services business for SAP in India. He is a key member of both the SAP DBS Asia Pacific Japan and SAP India leadership teams. In his multi-faceted career at SAP, Amit has been responsible for building new business opportunities, creating and nurturing relationships with customers. 

He joined SAP in 2006 and quickly advanced to the role of a Strategic Accounts Director. Later, he went on to Head the Strategic Customer program, where he was responsible for SAP’s strategy shifts to build core and innovative business outcomes. Before taking on his current role, Amit was Vice President, Services Sales for Indian subcontinent, and led sales across multiple lines of services including Consulting, Custom Development Products & Projects, Quality Assurance & Security Software, and many others.

Amit is a performance-oriented team leader and is truly committed to build and manage high performance team and environments. In addition, he is recognized for championing the Diversity & Inclusion charter within the organization.

Prior to joining SAP, Amit was associated with Hewlett Packard. An Electronics major, Amit has completed Telecom Management with Systems Specialization from Symbiosis Institute, Pune.

Subramanian Ananthapadmanabhan (Subbu)
Vice President, Digital Core,
SAP Indian Subcontinent

Subramanian Ananthapadmanabhan is the Vice President of Digital Core for SAP Indian subcontinent. In this role he leads all regional sales teams for ERP (i.e. SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud), SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, and Digital Supply Chain & Manufacturing. He also drives the company’s largest multi-cloud opportunities, bringing together Digital Core as the foundation of the Intelligent Enterprise with Customer Experience and People Management.

An established business leader with over 24 years of experience, he most recently served as the Vice President of Enterprise Business for the Indian subcontinent. In this capacity, he led engagements with SAP India’s top customers and worked alongside large corporations, helping them navigate their transformation journeys. He is the advisor as well as the executive sponsor for the Early Talent (Sales Academy) program in India.
He also incorporated social impact activities that embed ‘purpose’ amongst his teammates.

Subbu brings more than two decades of technology consulting, digital and sales experience to the role.

Prior to joining SAP, he has held several leadership roles in driving software business for top technology companies including Oracle, IBM and Wipro. Subbu holds a master’s in management studies from the University of Mumbai and a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering. 

Sumeet Sharma
Vice President
Strategy and Programs and Chief of Staff
President’s Office

Sumeet heads Strategy and Programs and is the Chief of Staff for President, SAP Indian sub-continent. In this role, Sumeet is responsible for strategic planning and executing cross-functional initiatives to drive growth and operational efficiency of the business.

Sumeet joined SAP in 2010 and has handled many roles within SAP India. Prior to his current role Sumeet led Strategy and Operations function and was responsible for developing and executing the annual operating plan and managing day-to-day operations. He also led the Industries and Value Engineering teams for SAP India.

Sumeet and his team collaborated with business leaders of SAP customers to develop their technology road-map that enabled achievement of business goals and innovation in business models and processes. As part of this role he was also responsible for developing and executing the Industry Go-To-Market strategy for India.

Before joining SAP, Sumeet led the strategy consulting practice at Accenture and managed CXO relationships with global clients. He started his career in sales and marketing with Hindustan Unilever and went on to hold leadership roles at CPG companies like Procter & Gamble and SC Johnson in India and Asia Pacific Japan.

He has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry in Asia Pacific Japan. His proficiency in business strategy, transformation and Digital Innovation brings unprecedented value to SAP’s management team.

Sumeet is an electrical engineer from Delhi College of Engineering and MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Sindhu Gangadharan
Senior Vice President and Managing Director,
SAP Labs India

Sindhu Gangadharan is SVP and Managing Director of SAP Labs in India, responsible for SAP’s development facilities in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Gurgaon. SAP Labs India is the largest R&D center outside SAP’s headquarters in Germany and a leading hub for innovation and a hot spot for talent and diversity.

Sindhu joined SAP two decades ago, when SAP Labs India had just set up its operations in Bangalore. She later moved to SAP’s headquarters in Walldorf, Germany, working on various products, technology and innovation platforms, and has held several strategic and leadership positions managing global teams. She has studied Computer Science Engineering from Bangalore University and began her career at SAP in the CRM Middleware space.

Sindhu has played a pivotal role in shaping SAP’s Integration strategy by growing SAP’s Integration product portfolio as Head of Product Management for SAP Cloud Platform Integration, IoT and SAP Process Orchestration. Her deep technical expertise and business knowledge led her to head the critical integration function in SAP's Technology and Innovation organization in the Office of the CTO.

As SAP introduced the Intelligent Enterprise strategy, Sindhu was asked to head SAP’s strategic and global Intelligent Enterprise Program reporting into SAP’s Executive Board. She has been instrumental in bringing to life SAP’s vision and strategy of the Intelligent Enterprise by orchestrating the end-to-end process delivery roadmaps to rapidly transform data into valuable insights for customers.

Sindhu is recognized as a thought leader in integration and innovation technologies, both within and outside of SAP and is a frequent speaker at SAP’s prominent global technology events. Her experience and deep expertise across SAP’s product portfolio have helped her forge strong relationships with SAP’s customers & partners, analysts, influencers and investors.

Sindhu is a strong advocate of using technology to benefit customers and the society. She is also a strong believer in diversity being key for any successful organization and has been actively contributing towards SAP’s drive for Women in Technology. As a proud mother of two, she believes the best way to seek work-life balance is to treat them as a continuum and have fun in the process.

Mahesh Nayak
Chief Operating Officer,
SAP Labs India

Mahesh Nayak is the COO of SAP Labs India, SAP’s largest Research and Development center outside its headquarters in Germany and a part of a connected lab network of 20 Labs in 17 countries.  Mahesh overseas business operations across three locations of SAP Labs India - Bangalore, Gurgaon and Pune.  He is also in the Startup Studio advisory board which helps SAP engage with the external startup ecosystem.

Mahesh has been with SAP for 15 years.  He began as a quality engineer and moved on to handle multiple roles in the areas of product development, quality management and partner product certification.   Prior to his career with SAP, Mahesh was with Hewlett Packard and Dell in India. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Bangalore University and has completed an executive program on leadership from Indian School of Business.

Outside of work, he follows cricket, is an avid movie buff and enjoys listening to music.
