Deb Deep Sengupta

President & Managing Director, SAP Indian Subcontinent

As President and Managing Director of SAP for the Indian subcontinent, Deb Deep is responsible for driving the company’s growth, operations and people strategy across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Deb Deep brings more than two decades of wide-ranging IT and management experience to the role, with a track record of increasing market share, ensuring customer success and leading effective teams. He has been an integral part of SAP India’s leadership team for over a decade and has been instrumental in establishing the SAP brand in India.

In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer of SAP Indian Subcontinent, Deb Deep provided leadership, strategy and direction to drive continuous business improvement and to help exceed revenue and profitability objectives. Prior to this, as Vice President of the Integrated Large Enterprise Business, he doubled the size of the India business, making it the largest Business Unit in India.

Deb Deep was also responsible for building the SME & Channels business for the SAP Indian Subcontinent, rated amongst the top SME businesses within SAP globally, in terms of key metrics such as revenue contribution, profitability, customer and partner satisfaction.

Prior to joining SAP, Deb Deep has held several leadership roles across top global technology organizations like HP and IBM. He completed his Executive Management Program from INSEAD, and also holds an engineering degree. 

Krishnan Chatterjee
 
Head of Marketing, SAP Indian Subcontinent
 
Krishnan Chatterjee is the Head of Marketing, SAP Indian Subcontinent. He is a core member of the India Senior Executive Leadership team, in charge of driving the company’s transition to become the most innovative Cloud Company powered by HANA with a focus on customers. He will be accountable for the overall marketing strategy, demand generation, reputation & loyalty management and end to end pipeline acceleration. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for SAP to establish its leadership as the trusted partner of choice to businesses in India.
 
Krishnan is a multi-disciplinary business and marketing leader with over two decades of experience across B2C and B2B industries. He incubated zCMO™– a thought-leading offering for CMOs to improve marketing performance in the digital transformation era. As a prominent figure in India’s marketing landscape, he was recognized as one of India’s top 25 digitalist thought leaders at the SAP ACE Awards, 2015. Additionally, he enjoys the privilege of being inducted into Paul Writer’s CMO Hall of Fame, a platform celebrating senior marketers who are developing and enhancing India’s marketing eco-system.
 
Prior to joining SAP, Krishnan was at HCL, he created and led the Strategic Marketing function and was a founding member of the organization’s Beyondigital™ business unit. During a decade long stint at ITC Ltd he was responsible for some distinguished brand launches including 555, Wills Lifestyle, Wills Sport and the John Players apparel brand which he also led as a business.
 
Krishnan is an economics graduate from Presidency College, Calcutta and has an MBA in marketing and strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He shares his insights and perspectives on technology, life, music, marketing and more through his blog and also finds expression as the lead vocalist of a band called Contra Band.

Sunil Kharbanda

Chief Customer Officer, SAP Indian Subcontinent

Sunil Kharbanda is the Chief Customer Officer, SAP Indian Sub-Continent. In his current role, Sunil is responsible for driving customer management strategies which revolve around strengthening SAP’s relationship, advocacy, adoption of SAP’s innovations and enhancing SAP’s footprint within customer organizations.

Sunil joined SAP in 2008 as the leader for license sales across large enterprises. He then transitioned to leadership roles in the services business. His career spans over two decades across diverse sectors and businesses, in leadership positions driving both sales and business cycle.  He brings a strong track record of building networks and relationships within and beyond the industry.

Prior to joining SAP India, Sunil was responsible for the support services business with Oracle India. Over the years, Sunil has been building, growing and managing large complex business portfolios, transforming them into structured organizations to execute long term and profitable businesses for the company.

A prior winner of one of India’s distinguished “Relationship Building” Award conferred by CEO India Magazine, Sunil was also recognized by FORE School of Management Alumni for his contribution to the Executive Leadership within the industry.

Sunil holds a Master's in Business Management from FORE School of Management, New Delhi. A passionate sportsman, who enjoys the game of cricket and he has been instrumental in establishing SAP’s Annual F-15 Cricket Cup, a tournament initiated by SAP for SAP customers and ecosystem.

Shraddhanjali Rao
 
Head - Human Resources, SAP India 
 
As the head of Human Resources for SAP in India, Shraddhanjali Rao provides HR leadership across the region for all entities including R&D and Sales & Services organizations and is a member of the SAP India Leadership Team. Shraddha is responsible for designing and executing the people strategy focusing on Leadership, Talent and Culture to meet the needs of the region’s more than 11000 employees.
 
Shraddha joined SAP in 2007 and has held multiple roles as a Global and Local HR Business Partner for Development, Services and Support organizations. Additionally, she has also led the Leadership and Diversity and Inclusion charter for SAP’s Products & Innovation Board area.
 
Prior to joining SAP, Shraddha began her career in 2004, at Tata Consultancy Services where she handled roles in HR Consulting, Organization Design, Corporate Governance and Talent Development.
 
Shraddha has a Master’s degree in Human Resource & Marketing from T A Pai Management Institute and Executive Management Program from ISB.

Neeraj Athalye

Head – S/4HANA I GST Adoption I Leonardo, SAP Indian Subcontinent

Neeraj Athalye is Head, S/4HANA, GST Adoption & Leonardo for SAP Indian Subcontinent. In his role, Neeraj is responsible for overall strategy, thought leadership, awareness, demand generation and pipeline acceleration through to closure, of SAP’s key solutions.

Neeraj has been associated with SAP for over 11 years, having held leadership roles in Strategic Solutions, Solution Engineering, SAP APJ and as the regional director for Large Enterprise Sales.

An industry veteran with 17 years’ experience, Neeraj has also been a startup entrepreneur when he was the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Sydler Technologies before joining back SAP. He has also been associated with MatrixOne (Dassault) India, Honda Siel Cars and John Deere Tractors India over the course of his career.

Neeraj holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Pune and is an avid trekker and supports NGO’s for rural development initiatives.

Anil Khatri
 
Head (South Asia), Global IT-client technology and Field IT, SAP India Subcontinent

Anil Khatri (Anil) is the Head (South Asia) for Global IT-client technology and Field IT at SAP India. In his current role, Anil is responsible for the field operations of the Indian Subcontinent and SEA countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines and drives key global initiatives including location strategy and vendor consolidation.

With more than 18 years of experience, Anil comes with an unparalleled expertise in building diverse IT teams that focus on driving cost effective innovation to deliver high value. Recognized for his innovations in technology, Anil has won several prestigious awards including the TOP CIO 100 award.

Prior to joining SAP, Anil was the Vice President IT with Servier International (Serdia India) and was responsible for building the IT function to fuel Servier’s growth in India. His focus was on creating a responsive team to improve key performance matrices resulting in the strengthening of the top and bottom lines of the business.

Anil holds a Master's in business administration from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in digital electronics.

Kaushik Bagchi

Vice President and Head - Digital Enterprise Platform Group, SAP India

Kaushik Bagchi, Vice President, DEPG, SAP India, will be instrumental in supporting SAP’s corporate strategy for the Platform Solution Group with the aim to position SAP as  the Top Database and Analytics player in Indian market by 2020. Atul Sareen

Vice President and Head of Cloud Sales, SAP India

Atul Sareen is the Vice President and Head of Cloud Sales at SAP India. In this role, he is responsible for driving SAP cloud business across all lines of business. Having spent more than two decades in the industry, Atul has an in-depth understanding of enterprise application and technology business across diverse sectors such as BFSI, manufacturing, technology and retail.

During his earlier stint at SAP, Atul helped in building the SAP brand, revenue and a strong partner eco-system as a part of the management team. He also served as the Managing Director with SunGard, setting up their Indian operations. Prior to rejoining SAP recently, Atul was the Managing Director with Infor, where he established the India business and leading the expansion of the company into new industry segments. His career also includes tenures with technology brands such as Apple and IBM Global Services.

Atul holds an Engineering Degree in Electrical and Telecommunications from the University of Pune. Apart from being an avid music lover, Atul is also a sports enthusiast and enjoys travelling.

Sumeet Sharma

Head of Industry Value Engineering (IVE), SAP Indian Subcontinent

Sumeet Sharma is the Head of Industry Value Engineering (IVE), SAP Indian Subcontinent. Sumeet and his team work alongside customers to develop their digital roadmap and IT strategy, to enable their business objectives and helps customers innovate as well as drive digital transformation. He is also responsible for building and executing SAP’s Industry Go-To-Market Strategy for India.

Sumeet joined SAP in 2010 as head of Value Engineering and took on the role of Head IVE in January 2013. He has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry in Asia Pacific Japan. His strong knowledge and proficiency in IT strategy and customer relationship management brings unprecedented value to SAP’s management team.

Prior to joining SAP, Sumeet led strategy consulting practice and managed CXO relationships with noteworthy Indian and global clients at Accenture. He started his career in sales and marketing with Hindustan Unilever and went on to hold leadership roles at CPG companies like Procter & Gamble and SC Johnson in India and Asia Pacific Japan.

Sumeet is an electrical engineer graduate from Delhi College of Engineering and holds an MBA degree from IIM Calcutta.

Kamolika Peres

Kamolika is the Vice President and Head of the Strategic Customer Program, SAP Indian Subcontinent. In this role, she is the custodian of SAP’s largest and deepest customer relationships in the subcontinent. With over 20 years of experience, Kamolika is a business leader with an extensive track record in consulting, digital transformation and has been instrumental on many first-of-a-kind technology implementations in India and emerging markets. She has domain expertise in the mobility space, with extensive knowledge of mobile technology and excels in the areas of strategy, outsourcing, consulting, business intelligence and program management.

Prior to joining SAP in 2016, Kamolika has held leaderships positions in IBM’s consulting team across India, South East Asia and Central Europe markets, where she worked with key players in the telecommunications and manufacturing sectors. She started her career with the Tata Administrative Services and thereafter moved to the consulting team at PwC.

An alumnus of the London School of Economics and IIM Calcutta, Kamolika is actively involved in mentorship programs to encourage the growth of young talent in the technology space. Kamolika is based  in Mumbai with her husband and two children. A speaker at various forums on technology, communications and women in leadership, she is passionate about music, reading and travel.  

Vivek Malhotra

Vice President- General Business, SAP Indian Subcontinent

Vivek Malhotra is the Vice President of General Business, SAP Indian Subcontinent and is part of the India Leadership Team. He is responsible for driving the company’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) line of business and focuses on cloud and digital as key growth drivers in the tier 1 and tier II markets in the country. In his new role at SAP India, Vivek aims to expand the customer portfolio and strive towards establishing SAP with a more dominant position in the market.

An industry veteran with over 26 years of experience, Vivek’s expertise spans across core business verticals of sales, account leadership and business transformation of customers. Prior to joining SAP, Vivek spent over two decades in various leadership positions at IBM, where his last assignment was as a leader for IBM Cloud.

Vivek is an alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He is married with two children and likes running, reading and travelling in his free time.
