Just like our solutions, partners, and customers, the SAP Pinnacle Awards continually evolve to meet market dynamics. 

There are a total of 26 awards* across three categories – winners are selected based on strict performance criteria, except for the ‘Social Impact’ award, which partners nominated themselves for jury consideration. Browse the 2024 categories and awards below.

Category: Customer Success

Sales Success | Small Enterprise

This award recognizes the partner that exceeded in understanding and fulfilling customer needs with SAP solutions. By sharing the unique value proposition of SAP solutions and the concrete business outcomes to be attained, the partner helped solve customer problems and empowered customers to tackle the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. Key criteria include net new names, ACV growth, ability to build a customer for life relationship, and more.

Sales Success | Midmarket

This award recognizes the partner that exceeded in understanding and fulfilling customer needs with SAP solutions. By sharing the unique value proposition of SAP solutions and the concrete business outcomes to be attained, the partner helped solve customer problems and empowered customers to tackle the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. Key criteria include net new names, ACV growth, midmarket line-of-business (LoB) customers, and more.

Sales Success | Large Enterprise

This award recognizes the partner that exceeded in understanding and fulfilling customer needs with SAP solutions. By sharing the unique value proposition of SAP solutions and the concrete business outcomes to be attained, the partner helped solve customer problems and empowered customers to tackle the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. Key criteria include net new names, ACV growth, joint growth,  joint selling, large enterprise customers, and more. 

Sales Success | Cross Segment

This award recognizes the partner that exceeded in understanding and fulfilling customer needs with SAP solutions. By sharing the unique value proposition of SAP solutions and the concrete business outcomes to be attained, the partner helped solve customer problems and empowered customers to tackle the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. Key criteria include net new names, ACV growth, renewal rates, and more.

Intelligent Enterprise Value Realization

This award recognizes a partner's ability to cover integrated end-to-end business processes such as recruit to retire, source to pay, lead to cash, or design to operate, spanning SAP S/4HANA and other solution areas and leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). The partner should have a proven record of selling and delivering across multiple solution areas to their customers. Key criteria include sales success, completed projects across multiple solution areas with suite qualities enabled by SAP BTP, and attainment of the Intelligent Enterprise competency for multiple end-to-end business processes.

Delivery Quality

This award recognizes the partner that exceeded in successfully delivering projects with cloud solutions from SAP, enabling the customer to quickly draw value from their investment in SAP software and the partner. Key criteria include cloud customer go-lives, delivery quality, and deployed Annual Contract Value.

Customer Success Management

This award recognizes the partner that has exceeded in consistently delivering value to the customer throughout the entire customer lifecycle, helping to ensure that the customer continues to draw value from SAP solutions and has a positive experience with the product, SAP, and the partner company. Key criteria include indirect customer success management and investment in the customer success management practice.

Partner-Led Demand Management

This award recognizes a partner's commitment to excellence in demand generation, marketing, and demand execution activities. It focuses on the effectiveness of these activities in creating qualified leads, increasing the pipeline through various sources, and ultimately serving the unique business needs of customers and creating an outstanding customer experience.

Partner Learning and Skills Growth

This award recognizes the partner that excels in growing their capacity of skilled SAP practitioners through enablement and coaching programs on cloud solutions from SAP and our platform and innovation portfolio. Key criteria include growth in certified and current cloud individuals, growth in number of badges earned, and Cloud Innovation Coaching service consumption.

Rising Star

This award recognizes a new partner in the SAP ecosystem that has generated significant customer value by identifying and fulfilling customer needs with SAP solutions. Key criteria include cloud bookings, net new names, and more. 

RISE with SAP | Delivery Quality

This award recognizes partners for successfully transforming their existing customers as well as new customers by using the RISE with SAP offering. In particular, we’re rewarding the partners' commitment to the consistent use of SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX solutions and to the clean core methodology. They must also support a full adoption of RISE with SAP, which includes achieving a high adoption rate for SAP Business Technology Platform. We expect these partners to help ensure sustainable customer success along the full lifecycle and demonstrate high customer satisfaction and renewal rates. Key criteria include the deployed annual contract value, customer go-lives for RISE with SAP, customer reference stories for RISE with SAP, and more.

GROW with SAP

This award recognizes partners for successfully winning new small and medium enterprise customers using the GROW with SAP offering as the cloud ERP foundation. The eligible GROW partners will be evaluated based on their contributions to the entire customer value journey: discovery, selection, adoption, value realization, consumption, and SAP solution expansion.

RISE with SAP | Sales Success

This award recognizes partners for their exceptional contribution in transforming our mutual customers' business across multiple business functions such as finance, human experience management, procurement, and the supply chain. Special consideration is given for building the business case and reaching customer commitment to migrate on-premise landscapes to the cloud at all levels – SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS – using the RISE with SAP offering. Key criteria include direct and indirect ACV for RISE with SAP as well as attach rate for SAP Business Technology Platform.

Category: Intelligent Enterprise Innovation

Partner Application | Industry Cloud

This award recognizes a partner-developed innovative industry-cloud solution based on the strategic importance for our joint customers in complementing SAP's industry cloud portfolio and on the innovative use of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).

Industry Cloud

This award recognizes the partner with the highest impact on delivering partner-owned industry solutions and innovations that complement SAP's industry cloud portfolio. Key criteria include industry thought leadership, go-to-market success, customer references, published validated partner use cases, or other innovations on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). Innovations on SAP BTP must be instrumental to increase adoption and consumption of SAP solutions and to accelerate the transformation of SAP customers toward the cloud, for instance, by using the GROW with SAP or RISE with SAP offerings.

SAP Business Technology Platform | Customer Success

This award recognizes the partner's commitment to customer success by adhering to our clean core strategy with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). Key criteria include demonstrated thought leadership, strategic alignment, clean core with governance for SAP BTP, proven customer success, and partner-led consumption of SAP BTP.

AI Partner Innovation

This award recognizes a partner-developed AI solution complementing SAP’s solution road map in the AI space based on the innovative use of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). Key criteria include use of SAP BTP and AI services in the application, customer relevance and adoption, and revenue from SAP Store.

Business AI | Customer Value Creation

This award recognizes the partner with the highest impact in delivering end-to-end solutions and innovations that complement the SAP Business AI initiative. Key criteria include industry thought leadership, go-to-market success, customer references, published validated partner use cases, and other innovations on SAP BTP that have been instrumental to increase adoption and consumption of SAP Business AI solutions. (The partner should have a proven record of delivering solutions infused with SAP Business AI.)

SAP Business Technology Platform | Solution Area Growth

This award recognizes the partner's success in driving accelerated growth of the strategic solution growth pillars for SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) along the customer value journey. Strategic growth solution areas for SAP BTP include SAP Datasphere, SAP Build, planning, enterprise automation, core AI, and others. Key criteria include strategic alignment, established solution practice with certified professionals for SAP BTP, ACV impacted by SAP BTP, year-over-year growth, customer adoption and consumption, and content portfolio for SAP BTP.

New Partner Application

This award recognizes an innovative partner that provides an economically relevant business solution for our customers. Key criteria include having a new software solution available on SAP Store for less than two years, ACV of the new application, and number of transactions on SAP Store.

Partner Solution Success

This award recognizes a partner solution that successfully delivers ongoing customer value by extending SAP's portfolio of solutions, as evidenced in customer demand and sales of the solution. The success of the partner solution is a direct reflection of the unique business value delivered to SAP customers. Key criteria include ACV bookings growth and new customer success stories.

SAP Store

This award recognizes a successful partner that showcases one or more innovative solutions on SAP Store while successfully deploying and delivering value to customers throughout their lifecycle at scale. Key criteria include views, opportunities, and pipeline creation.

Business Process Transformation

This award recognizes partners that demonstrate the greatest contribution to advancing market development, solution innovation, and customer success with SAP Signavio solutions. Key criteria include active market development for our SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite, contribution to solution development, commitment to customer showcase, and more.

Business Network

This award recognizes an SAP partner that has demonstrated a commitment to sell as well as service or develop value-adding services for any of the solution areas that comprise SAP Business Network. Whether through sales and delivery performance or marketing and co-innovation, this partner has excelled in creating enriched value in the ecosystem. Key criteria include pipeline and sales performance, client success stories, enhanced demos, product integration, and digital innovation.

Category: Sustainability and Social Impact

Sustainability

Sustainability intelligence is key in any core business process that our partners transform. This award recognizes partners that have made sustainability an integral component of their business impact services and are front-runners to act on SAP's portfolio to reduce emissions, waste, and inequality and to accelerate circularity. Also, they have a clear, measurable, and publicly committed path toward becoming a sustainable business themselves. Key criteria include licenses sold, new apps built on SAP Business Technology Platform in SAP Store, reference material, and more. 

Social Impact

Improving the world and leveraging the power of business to make a difference are at the core of SAP's mission and that of our ecosystem. This award recognizes the partner that through SAP technology supported a social impact initiative with concrete results in creating a lasting positive impact. Key criteria include the impact of social projects or diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) projects, use of technology, power of innovation, and more.
