‘The Big Picture’ poster is an end-to-end capabilities reference architecture showing the comprehensive capabilities of SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP Business Data Cloud that unleash SAP S/4HANA transformation for business, development, engineering, architects, and IT operations. This is a unique starting point for understanding the key technologies involved in every transformation. This capabilities architecture is organized along three main layers. The top layer, labeled SAP Applications & Processes, comprises the core applications to drive and understand business processes. This is where the magic starts with all critical business functions like finance, supply chain, customer experience, and procurement. Many applications come with embedded Business AI capabilities and offer access to SAP`s copilot Joule. The middle layer, labeled SAP BTP & BDC, provides access to all critical technologies for modern business transformation, such as for cloud application development, enterprise integration, process automation, data management and data sharing, analytics and AI. This middle layer makes the system scalable, and highly adaptable, while staying Clean Core compliant.
