BSH: Revolutionizing global
oven production through
smart technology integration
In its nearly 60-year history, BSH Hausgeräte GmbH has evolved from a German home
applicance brand portfolio exporter to one of the world’s leading home appliance
manufacturers. The company’s brand portfolio includes global names such as Bosch,
Siemens, and Gaggenau, as well as regional brands such as Neff and Thermador. BSH
operates 37 manufacturing factories and is represented in around 50 countries worldwide.
BSH was looking to streamline sequencing processes for oven production at its home
appliances manufacturing plant in Traunreut, Germany. The company wanted to replace
multiple legacy tools and manual systems with a modern solution that would use live
data about the current order, resource, and material status, and plan and control
manufacturing accordingly. To adopt the right solution, BSH harnessed a strategic long-
term services partnership for the implementation and go-live.
