Team Liquid is a world-renowned professional gaming organization established in 2000.
It has won more than US$43 million in prize money as well as 120 major titles and
counting.
Analyzing the behavior and strategies of the team you face is an essential part of
preparation and training for the data-intense and complex League of Legends game. One
important aspect of the game is the draft, where two teams select five champions out of a
pool of 166. Correctly anticipating the champions that each team picks delivers a huge
competitive advantage. Team Liquid wanted to find a way to harness artificial intelligence
to help it simulate and train for different draft scenarios.
