Creating visibility, simplicity, and efficiency in doing business

Transformation Continuum LLC is a business and technology consulting firm with a team of proven industry experts delivering a suite of business, technology, sales, and marketing services that bridge the gap between business and technology. With a vision to be the catalyst that propels technology and solution companies toward sustained success, it delivers go-to-market strategies that empower businesses to outperform their competition and leave a lasting impact.

Committed to integrity, ingenuity, and measurable results, Transformation Continuum aims to be the go-to partner for businesses seeking transformative growth and sustained success.

Intent on making it as easy as possible for its clients to transact with it, Transformation Continuum sought to smooth the exchange of electronic business documents, including purchase orders (POs), statements of work (SOWs), and invoices.

Debbie Austin, finance coordinator at Transformation Continuum, explains, “When you send invoices or SOWs to clients through e-mail, they can get missed in an inbox or they don’t get to the right person at the right time. We wanted to avoid all this and streamline how our clients do business with us.”

Being on SAP Business Network is a dream for me. I can do all the important tracking from one place, so when we submit an invoice, I can see if it’s accepted or rejected and know when it’s approved and when we’re going to get paid.

Improving customer experience with smooth transactions

When one of Transformation Continuum’s major clients onboarded it to SAP Business Network, the company immediately noticed the business impact of being able to communicate and engage with its customers in new ways. “As a digital-first company, joining SAP Business Network was a logical step for us,” says Sabrina Shafer, CEO at Transformation Continuum. “It helps us put our money where our mouth is in terms of digitally enhancing our processes and optimizing experiences for our clients by transacting faster and having more visibility into those transactions.”

Onboarding was conducted online, and Austin, as finance coordinator, was called upon to champion the adoption, investing time up front and getting to know the functionality by accessing comprehensive training videos and technical support. “It’s all very intuitive,” says Austin. “You click orders, and you see all your orders. You click invoices, and there are your invoices, all lined up. You can see how long they’ve been pending and when we’re going to get paid. SAP Business Network gives you an all-encompassing way to track your business transactions. But if you do get stuck, there’s always somebody you can reach out to.”

In our business, there’s always a hard push at the end of a quarter. SAP Business Network simplifies interactions at this time and keeps everything on track. Relevant information is displayed on one screen, and within two or three clicks, you can see what’s been submitted and approved with a detailed audit trail.

Making smooth customer transactions part of delivering service excellence

By joining SAP Business Network, Transformation Continuum is easier to work with, as its people have more time to focus on service delivery and consulting. “Customers want business interactions that are simple, clear, and fast, and that’s what SAP Business Network provides for us,” explains Shafer. “When you make it hard for customers to transact with you, they’re less likely to want to continue working with you.”

Austin agrees, “When a client reaches out for an update on multiple POs, thanks to the visibility provided by SAP Business Network, I can give them a quick screenshot of all relevant information in an instant. This really comes into its own toward the end of the quarter. Clients have budget buckets, and if they discover in good time that they’ve got, say, $40,000 sitting there unspent, they can do something with it before they lose it at the quarter’s end. We can quickly turn around new POs and get them processed without delay.”

SAP Business Network allows us to communicate and engage with our customers in ways that we weren’t able to do previously when it was far more complex and we had far less visibility. I can tell you we’re a big fan, and we don’t plan on changing anytime soon.

Taking business operations to the next level

In terms of next steps, Transformation Continuum is looking to use SAP Business Network to sustain and expand its client relationships to achieve future growth. “Because we were born during the COVID-19 pandemic, much of our business has always been transacted digitally, and many of our customers took finding us online for granted,” says Shafer. “As we look to sustain these relationships and because we value our clients’ time, we’re going to maximize our use of SAP Business Network.”
