Customers cannot change or choosethe underlying AI model used for these AI features.For custom-built AI solutions and AI-powered extensions of SAP solutionsusing SAP AI Core or SAP AI Launchpad, customers may choose from a largelist of available AI models and scenarios in the generative AI hub.In both cases, SAP’s rights and obligations toward customers regarding theuse of generative AI models are governed by the SAP AI terms, which ispart of SAP's cloud services agreement.Can customers choose thegenerative AI model used fora specific AI featureembedded in one of the SAPsolutions?No, customers cannot change or choose the AI model used for AI featuresembedded in SAP solutions.As new AI models enter the market and existing models evolvetechnologically and commercially, SAP regularly evaluates which of theavailable AI models is the most suitable for a given SAP solution.SAP reserves the right to add, remove, or replace any AI model in the givenSAP solution at any time while adhering to the terms of SAP’s cloud servicesagreement.Can customers deploy theirown generative AI models?Customers can access AI models hosted by SAP or third parties, eithernatively in embedded AI features or through the generative AI hub in SAP AICore. Access to such AI models is subject to the customer’s cloud servicesagreement with SAP, including the applicable security terms.Customers can also access third-party AI models directly or deploy theirown AI models (including generative AI models) using SAP AI Core, the useof which would be outside the scope of the customer’s cloud servicesagreement with SAP.
