Leverage historical data, rates and powerful estimating algorithms, such as performance history, cost estimating relationships and parametric estimates, to develop accurate top-down vs. bottom-up estimates for labor, material, travel and other direct costs and embed continuous learning.

With best practices proposal templates, re-use of prior proposals, workflows/approvals, automated estimating algorithms, and the ability to manage global bids under one roof, even complex bids can be quickly assembled. Versions and what-if scenarios can be quickly created and compared.
Better pricing decisions
Pricing can be automatically created for cost-plus, fixed price or T&M contract types leveraging pricing catalogs, flexible billing rates, volume discounts, customer discounts, etc. Pricing can be adjusted based on PTW targets and risk-adjusted margin calculations to find the optimal price point.
Enable compliance with government regulations

Estimate engineering & services
Estimate labor using a project plan, level of effort, three-point estimates, based on SAP performance history, parametrics (e.g. number of ESLOCs) and CERs (e.g. 10% of engineering effort), bring in cost/billing rates from SAP, & distribute costs based on curves or manual weekly/monthly inputs
Estimate production & procurement
Easily create or import proposal bills of material (BOM) from your ERP or PLM application incl. similar-to parts. Use powerful MRP-like algorithms to consolidate requirements, estimate cost & calculate confidence from your purchase history, vendor quotes, routing standards, production orders, etc.
Transition to execution
When winning a proposal the contract, project baseline & risk registry can be automatically created from the proposal to ensure continuity & to provide a baseline of estimated cost to measure project delivery performance against.
