Introduction
§ SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) is an enabler to consistently embed Generative AI into our application
portfolio
§ Enabling SAP and partner application to leverage the power of Generative AI technologies
§ Infuse AI features and process innovations across all SAP and partner applications based on Generative AI services provided by BTP.
§ Provide code generation, automation and extensibility based on Generative AI
§ Provide trusted, compliant and enterprise ready integration into Generative AI partner services and provide own capabilities based
on SAP’s business data.
§ Partners using the generative AI capabilities to develop innovative AI apps with SAP BTP (with integration with SAP
solutions, as applicable).
§ This scenario is suitable for partners building new apps or refactoring already existing apps.
SAP ICC provides this integration scenarios for partner applications built with SAP BTP and utilizing generative AI
capability. If no AI or generative AI services are used by the partner application, it can be certified as a regular BTP extension
certification.

§ Certification requirements include:
§ Reliable AI: Deployment of the Partner app on SAP BTP runtime environment
§ Reliable AI: Utilize generative AI hub capabilities in SAP AI Core
§ Reliable AI: Make use of BTP services, as outlined in SAP Discovery Center
§ Reliable AI: Development and Implementation must follow the respective SAP
development and best practice guidelines (such as BTP AI Dev Guide)
§ Responsible AI: Adhere to guiding principles and ethics at SAP*
§ Responsible AI: Verify the self assessment report of the business scenario and AI
Ethics policy following SAP AI Ethics Handbook*
§ Relevant AI: Integration with SAP solutions (as applicable). Integrate using released
APIs, as documented in SAP Business Accelerator Hub
§ Relevant AI: Successful functional end-to-end smoke test of the application
Pre-requisites:
§ Partner must hold contractual engagement with SAP PartnerEdge Build with Active status.
§ Solution must be registered in SAP Solution Hub and reach GTM-ready status under
respective partner id.
§ Implement Application Interface Register (AIR Key), as applicable
