Guangdong Seneasy Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd. is a specialized manufacturer in the smart remote-control sector, focusing on the R&D, design, production, and sales of various smart accessories, including remote controls, cameras, and game controllers. Offering comprehensive customization capabilities and rapid delivery, the company has earned widespread recognition from leading domestic and international brands such as Xiaomi, Skyworth, TCL, Vestel, and Panasonic. In recent years, as Seneasy expanded its product portfolio and accelerated innovation, it has faced increasing challenges in R&D management. The parallel development of multiple product categories created complex demands in data and version control, while variations in product features and delivery schedules have significantly heightened the complexity of end-to-end collaboration and operational oversight.

 

At the group operations level, Seneasy has established five subsidiaries at home and overseas. With frequent cross-regional business interactions, the company handles a high volume of intercompany transactions and contract manufacturing collaborations. However, its legacy system lacked unified planning capabilities, resulting in order and settlement processes that were heavily dependent on manual entry and handoffs. With purchase and sales orders having to be reentered across separate ledgers, inconsistent document formats, pricing discrepancies, and fragmented data made end-to-end visibility difficult to achieve. This significantly reduced transaction matching efficiency and delayed settlement timelines.

 

What’s more, the company’s steady expansion in overseas markets added increasingly complex demands in its global operations. The combination of diverse legal systems, multilingual platforms, and multitax environments created a pressing need for standardized mechanisms to support tax reporting and financial compliance. Externally, major differences in customer order systems across countries further complicated global collaboration. Internally, subsidiaries have long operated on separate systems with inconsistent data standards, resulting in pronounced data silos across the group. Faced with product diversification, complex transactions, and global collaboration challenges, Seneasy chose to implement SAP Cloud ERP Private as a digitally integrated global operations foundation that unifies business and finance. At the outset of the project, the company focused on cleansing and standardizing key master data—including materials, suppliers, credit, and assets—establishing a unified master data management framework across multiple organizations and dimensions. On this foundation, Seneasy deployed core capabilities such as financial accounting and controlling, materials management, production planning, and sales and distribution functionality. This enabled end-to-end integration from product design and manufacturing execution to sales and settlement, establishing a dual-engine system encompassing business operations and data management and laying the groundwork for continuous innovation and global growth.

 

As Seneasy upgraded its management system, enhanced cost accounting became a key driver of profitability. Previously, the company relied on a post-event actual cost method, which impeded effective management decision-making because of low granularity, unclear cost allocation, and delayed reporting. With the implementation of SAP Cloud ERP Private, Seneasy established an end-to-end cost control system covering preplanning, real-time control, and post-analysis. This system automates the allocation and multidimensional breakdown of cost elements, such as outsourced processing fees and scrap material. SAP Cloud ERP Private also offers clear, traceable cost views, significantly enhancing accounting transparency and empowering the management team to make informed operational decisions.

 

In its global operations, Seneasy simultaneously strengthened its capabilities in tax compliance and cross-regional collaboration. By leveraging the multilanguage, multicurrency, and multitax features built into SAP Cloud ERP Private, the company established a unified and standardized global financial and tax management system that meets compliance requirements across various countries and regions. Additionally, the solution enables deep integration with global customer environments, allowing for automated synchronization of core data such as orders, invoices, and settlements. This has significantly improved Seneasy’s cross-system collaboration efficiency and enhanced its ability to meet global commitments.

Accelerating cloud adoption to unify global R&D, production, and sales

The evolution of smart home technology means the application of remote controls has expanded beyond TVs and set-top boxes to include lighting, curtains, robotic vacuums, and other devices. Their form has also evolved—from traditional button-based designs to multifunctional smart remotes supporting voice control, motion sensing, and more. To enhance R&D efficiency and product delivery capabilities, Seneasy developed a unified R&D management system on SAP Cloud ERP Private, standardizing key information, such as material master data, product structures, and routing processes. This enables consistency and traceability of data between R&D and manufacturing. Once a design is finalized, the system automatically synchronizes product structures and process routes with the production planning application, directly linking design to production and accelerating the introduction of new products. During production execution, Seneasy also achieves 100% traceability of work order–level costs, enabling precise tracking of cost components for each order and further strengthening its cost-control capabilities.

 

With the intercompany transaction solution provided by SAP Cloud ERP Private, Seneasy has integrated its procurement and sales processes. The automated transmission of settlements and demand has effectively broken down system silos between factories. By standardizing document formats and pricing logic, transactions across different ledgers are now automatically triggered and transparently traced through financial postings. This has significantly improved the efficiency of cross-factory and intercompany operations, resulting in a 30% reduction in multiparty trade orders and clearer transaction flows. With end-to-end process integration, Seneasy’s internal transactions have become more efficient and transparent. Monthly closings are completed much faster, thanks to heightened financial data accuracy and a reduction in the internal reconciliation workload. What’s more, the standardized operating framework simplifies user actions and promotes greater consistency and discipline in management.

 

Today, Seneasy is steadily expanding its global manufacturing and trade network, with domestic manufacturing as its foundation.
