SAP is depending on Partners with a reputationas serious business professionals who behavefairly, ethically, and correctly in all businessactivities. For Partners that have employeescontracted to work directly on SAP productsand projects, these guidelines must be reviewedwith all employees and subcontractors workingon SAP matters.We expect our employees and our Partners toconduct themselves in a safe manner, to refrainfrom any action that may be considered a conflictof interest, and to treat others with respect andfairness while working on behalf of SAP. 1 Compliance with Laws, Rules, Regulations, and Policies1.1 GeneralAs a Partner, you agree to abide by the termsof this Code and acknowledge that compliancewith this Code is required to maintain yourstatus as an SAP Partner. You agree that allbusiness conducted on behalf of SAP shallbe accomplished in full compliance with appli-cable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.Non compliance with the Code may result inconsequences including but not limited tofines, penalties, claw backs, suspension andterminations. If local laws are less restrictivethan the principles set forth in this Code;Partners are expected, at a minimum, tocomply with the Code.
