Create a new "Business Partner" quickly with high-quality source data from external data providers.

Identify duplicate records and merge these in a master data consolidation run.

Track the quality of your master data and remediate erroneous records seamlessly.

Now, you can see all the records that do not comply with the rule that a region must be specified in the address data.

Select all of the records that need to be corrected and continue.

Start the mass processing to correct the records.

Edit the “Region” data and save the entries that are a part of the mass edit.

Now, you can submit the changes for approval and go back to the Home screen.

An approver will receive a request in their workflow inbox and can approve the changes accordingly. Once approved, erroneous data will get seamlessly remediated.

Your company starts working with a new business partner. You are the master data specialist in charge to create a new master data record.

You enter the business partner’s name. The system then checks for existing data. And, as there is no duplicate data found, you can speed up data entry and help to ensure higher quality by leveraging proven, external sources of data.

From the list of reference records, choose the appropriate record containing the required information to include in your creation request.

The new record is created, including the information provided from the external source.

Now, you can save and submit the request for approval and go back to the Home screen.

To start a consolidation run, you import data from an external source.

The initial check is the first step in the consolidation process. Errors and warnings are issued, if found.

There is one error and one warning; however, let’s continue and see if further remediation steps will resolve them.

Some addresses are correct and one was automatically corrected, but there are also some ambiguous addresses that require a closer look.

Clicking on the blue segment of the pie chart will reveal all of the addresses that require further review.

The wizard-like UI allows you to easily fix the flagged addresses, just accept the valid addresses to continue.

Let's accept the valid addresses and continue with identifying potential duplicate records.

One loaded record is a potential duplicate and part of an "Open Match Group".

Let's review this match group.

The match review screen reveals the potential duplicate records.

You can approve to confirm the records as duplicates.

You can see that the status of the match group has changed to approved.

Let's continue to calculate the best record from the approved match group.

The best record was calculated automatically by merging information from the two duplicate records that were found.

Now, let's perform a final validation on all of the records that were a part of the consolidation run.

No errors, mission accomplished!

You can take a final look at all of the actions involved in this consolidation run, before activating the cleansed and consolidated master data.

All actions are displayed in the "Audit Trail", including automated steps.

You can select close to go back to the "Home" screen.

Now, let's continue with the central creation of a new record…
