Manoj Swaminathan biography
Manoj Swaminathan serves as a Member of the Extended Board of SAP SE and, General
Manager and Chief Product Officer for SAP’s Business Suite, Finance & Spend organization. In
this role, Manoj oversees the delivery, strategy and alignment of the entire SAP Business Suite.
This team includes the units responsible for product engineering and marketing for SAP
S/4HANA Finance, office of the CFO portfolio, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and SAP Concur
offerings.
Before taking on his current position, Manoj was Chief Product Officer for SAP’s Intelligent
Spend and Business Network organization where he led product engineering for the business
network, contingent workforce, procurement and travel and expense management solutions.
Under his leadership these teams delivered market-leading cloud solutions that help
companies worldwide realize greater visibility across enterprise spend and manage supply
chain disruption. Additionally, Manoj led the Application Foundation Services organization
responsible for unifying a broad portfolio of activities and components on SAP Business
Technology Platform for use across all SAP products.
In 2023, Manoj joined SAP from Amazon where he was the Director of Amazon’s Financials
Foundation Service for eCommerce services. Before Amazon, he held the position of CPO and
engineering leader for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management at Microsoft. Earlier roles at
Microsoft include Chief Product Architect for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations,
leading Solution Architecture, Platform, Globalization and Localization, as well as the
Financials foundation engineering teams for Dynamics. Prior to Microsoft, Manoj led the
engineering team for Oracle development and technology engineering at United Health.

India, a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University, and a master’s
degree in data science from The University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Bellevue, Washington,
