Monika Schaller biography
Monika Schaller is the Chief Communications Officer of SAP. In her role, she is responsible for
developing and executing SAP‘s overall communications strategy targeted at enhancing and
protecting the company’s reputation. She acts as strategic advisor to the SAP Executive Board
and is a member of the Extended Board.
Before joining SAP, Schaller served as Executive Vice President at Deutsche Post DHL Group,
overseeing Corporate Communications, Sustainability, and Brand. Prior to that, she was
Deputy Head of Communications and Social Responsibility at Deutsche Bank, advising the
Executive Board on strategic communications.
Schaller also spent nine years leading corporate communications for Goldman Sachs across
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Central and Eastern Europe, and Russia, where she played a
key role in managing communications during the 2008 global financial crisis. Prior to that she
worked as TV reporter at Bloomberg with a focus on capital market and central banks.
Schaller holds a degree in business administration from the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien.
