Sebastian Behrendt is the Head of Global Finance and Chief Controlling Officer of SAP SE. Under his
leadership, the team drives SAP’s core financial processes, ensuring sustainable growth while accelerating
the execution of SAP’s Finance Transformation initiatives.
While being with SAP he held several strategic finance leadership roles, including CFO for the Middle and
Eastern Europe region, and he was appointed Chief Controlling Officer in 2018. In 2023, he took on additional
responsibility as Head of Global Finance, leading a multifaceted team comprising Controlling, Commercial
Finance, Procurement, Facility & Real Estate, the Finance Services organization, and Regional/Market Unit
CFOs.
Behrendt holds a diploma degree in business administration from the University of Applied Sciences in
Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel, Germany.
