Processes defined within GaBi Gas by BNetzA or Kooperationsvereinbarung (KoV) defined by BDEW create a regulatory barrier to which German Gas Utilities have to align. Connecting SAP S/4HANA for Utilities to SAP Market Communication for gas processes is supported.

Enabling German Gas Processes
For the German Gas Market rules are defined within "GaBi Gas", "GeLi Gas" on the part of BNetzA or "Kooperationsvereinbarung" by BDEW. KoV Enhancements supports the regulatory frameworks with the rules for Allocations, Declarations and other gas-specific processes and calculations.
Supporting German Gas Market Communication
Gas Processes of DSOs result in external market partner communication. KoV Enhancements on SAP BTP enables the linkage between gas-processes, Application Processes Engine (APE) and SAP Market Communication.
Monitoring Gas Allocations ("Netzkonto Monitor")
Monitoring the data-quality of Gas Allocation processes aggregation net-account ("Netzkonto") specific information, like temperatures, allocation or customer groups.

Net Account Monitor ("Netzkonto Monitor")
Net Accounts (Netzkonten) are used to monitor and analyze the quality of Gas Allocations. Different drill-down options are provided to check the quality of these allocations based on e.g. temperature or customer group information.
Monitoring Gas Transactions
Messages of the different formats like ALOCAT, IMBNOT or SLPASP are analyzed and key information provided. The processing of these messages is performed by standard SAP functionalities like SAP Market Communication and Application Process Engine (APE).
Quality of SLP Allocations ("SLP Allokationsgüte")
German DSOs have to secure that their Gas SLP calculations and Allocations are performed with high data quality. Based on the net account differences (monthly / yearly) cumulative differences for certain temperatures used within the Allocation calculation process are visualized.
