SAP’s career accelerator for young graduates
SAP France is part of the global SAP Academy program which was created in 2014 and is designed for young graduates from business or engineering schools that are keen to innovate. Through the program, SAP France has already recruited 48 employees (nearly half of whom are female) into various sales professions, with the long-term objective of developing and accompanying them into future executive roles.
SAP Academy for Sales is a unique opportunity to learn the basics in sales, evolve in a nurturing environment, and leverage SAP’s best assets with great exposure to executives. It has been one of the best social and professional experiences for me so far, setting a path for success, and the best way to kick-start a career.
SAP Academy is a real career booster. The program provides unparalleled training in strategy, sales techniques, and personal development opportunities. With the SAP Academy, SAP has developed an excellent program to support graduates way beyond training. Thanks to SAP Academy, I have been able to develop a very strong international network since the program participants come from diverse SAP markets, which promotes internal mobility.
SAP exclusive networking event for female professionals
SAP’s transformation to becoming an intelligent enterprise requires a new approach to engage key talent in a networking-based, community-building approach. SAP France, in partnership with the European Space Agency, welcomed 45 women from different industries and backgrounds, including sales, consulting, operations, cloud development, and more. Events like this help us grow our female talent pipeline and help ensure workplace diversity at SAP France.
The leadership team at SAP France signed two charters to promote women in the workplace through the StOpE initiative and the association #JamaisSansElles in May 2019.
SAP has made a commitment to gender equality. We aim to effectively reduce bias and acts of sexism that hinder the integration and advancement of women in the workplace.
Early talent opportunities
In 2018, we hired more than 90 interns as well as 65 apprentices at SAP France. Some of the interns were hires for our dedicated SAP Internship Experience Project program but we do also offer regular internships in all kinds of business areas. For all interns, apprentices, and young professionals, we established the "Early Talent Community", which organizes interesting events and fun activities such as after-work or coffee-corner sessions.
