Howdens, a leading UK kitchen manufacturer, partnered with Engineering Industries eXcellence to transform its production model using SAP Digital Manufacturing. With a goal to shift from make-to-stock to make-to-order manufacturing, Howdens needed a scalable solution that could support customization, improve efficiency, and reduce waste. Engineering Industries eXcellence led the consulting and implementation process, rolling out SAP Digital Manufacturing across more than 140 production sites. The transformation has already delivered results, starting with a successful go-live at a site specializing in custom paint finishes. Moving to the cloud has also enabled easier IT management and faster deployment.
