Modern Slavery Act 2015

SAP (UK) Limited (“SAP”) is committed to ensuring that it understands the issues addressed by the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (“MSA 2015”) and takes appropriate measures to stay compliant with the MSA 2015, ensuring that no modern slavery exists within SAP or its supply chains.
SAP’s ultimate parent company (SAP SE) is headquartered in Germany with offices across the globe, including the UK. In ensuring SAP’s adherence to the MSA 2015 at all times, SAP has a number of teams working to ensure SAP conducts business well within the realms of the MSA 2015. In addition to this, SAP feels it is every employee’s personal responsibility to help SAP remain compliant with the MSA 2015, and so SAP invests time and resource into ensuring its employees are kept updated on this area of law. SAP focusses attention on this from the point of on-boarding in order to keep this matter fresh in its employees’ minds, providing information on its internal and external website.
SAP has published this statement to ensure that its employees and suppliers, both current and prospective are able to understand the importance of complying with the MSA 2015 and therefore allow SAP to comply at all times. SAP’s own supplier contracts contain modern slavery language, attempting to build this way of working into the very contractual relationship between the parties to keep modern slavery away from SAP’s doors and its supply chain. In addition to the foregoing, since 2000 SAP has been committed to carrying out business in line with the UN Compact, committed to the highest upholding of human rights, labour rights, environmental protection and anti-corruption action.
In the event you discover any potential breach of the MSA 2015, please reach out to the Ombudsperson on SAP Global Ombudsperson and this will be dealt with as soon as reasonably practicable.

Volunteerism at SAP

SAP encourages employee volunteerism year-round through company- and employee-led engagements. We partner with different Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to create positive social change in our communities across the United States and Canada. We believe in the power of volunteering.
Our signature corporate-led volunteering initiative is our Month of Service held in October annually, where more than 300 projects are executed across North America. We also encourage employee-led volunteerism throughout the year. In April 2017 we launched our first “Spring Into Service” initiative, a campaign where employees themselves identify, plan and implement service projects for causes they are passionate about.In 2017, over 10,500 SAP employees volunteered more than 41,000 hours in 35 cities. Additionally, employees contributed more than 9,800 hours of their time and talents through to skills-based volunteering, with a focus on STEM education and entrepreneurship programs.

Full-time SAP employees may take advantage of a company match for personal donations and donated time  to nonprofit partners. Restrictions apply.

UK Tax Strategy

SAP is committed to complying with all tax laws and regulations in the territories in which we operate including the UK, while also maintaining open and constructive relationships with tax authorities.  Compliance for us means paying the right amount of tax in the right place at the right time and involves disclosing all relevant facts and circumstances to the tax authorities while also claiming reliefs and incentives where available under law.
