SAP’s 50th Anniversary
SAP’s 50th Anniversary
50 years of shaping tomorrow – together
Founded in 1972 by five people working in their first client’s offices, SAP has grown into a global powerhouse of more than 100,000 employees supporting more than 460,000 customers across 140 countries. This is the story of how SAP created an industry and helped improve the world.
Watch SAP’s journey – from our early days to the present – and learn about the challenges we plan to tackle in the future through never-before-seen interviews and rare archival footage. Customers, employees, and industry insiders share their insights into how SAP’s revolutionary software, such as SAP R/3 and SAP HANA, has changed the world.
For years, SAP has been a leader in creating a culture of innovation, diversity of thought, and outreach to help create the leaders of tomorrow. While we don’t know what the next 50 years will bring, we do know that SAP will be leading with innovations to help the world run better.
