Create or customize up to five fields within your SAP Ariba cloud service, enabling you to address data requirements not met by standard fields. This service includes: creating a new custom field or adding customizations to existing out-of-the-box fields or prior created custom fields. The duration for this service is twelve months after the customer acquires the service.

  • The service provides the following activities after the customer acquires the service: Build up custom fields or field customizations. Review how the new fields will integrate within the existing Cloud Service. Configure the Cloud Service. Assist with test issue resolution and validation. Migrate to production. Document how the new custom fields or field customizations will integrate within the existing Cloud Service.
  • Prerequisites: Customer owns, or is in the process of purchasing a subscription to one or more of the following SAP Ariba Cloud services: SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba Contracts, SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite, SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract Suite, SAP Ariba Buying, SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, SAP Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, SAP Ariba Catalog, SAP Ariba Supplier Risk, SAP Ariba Invoice Management, SAP Business Network Commerce Automation, SAP Business Network Supply Chain Collaboration
  • Note: This service supports the implementation to a single site only (e.g., standalone Strategic Sourcing site, single child realm, or single supplemental site).
  • Before purchasing, we recommend customers have a discussion with their SAP Ariba team about the business requirements for the custom fields or customizations and their viability.
