Since 2021, TOP has been dedicated to revolutionizing HR management with ethical and trusted artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. TOP provides managers and HR teams with a predictive AI solution that proactively helps improve employee retention.
TOP’s HR solution, which aligns with confidential, ethical, and responsible AI compliance, anticipates the risk of employee resignation. It also identifies the factors that influence employees to resign and proposes preventive corrective actions to foster employee loyalty and retention.
As one of the first European companies to offer predictive AI for HR, the proactive analysis and corrective action features in TOP’s solution separate the company from its competitors. To keep this edge in the market, TOP needed a robust ERP solution that would provide a strong organizational structure for optimizing business processes while enabling scalability for future growth. The company was looking to replace manual, spreadsheet-based financial processes that were error prone and time-consuming. It was hoping to find a centralized, automated solution based on standardized best practices that would help reduce financial closing cycle time and generate real-time reporting for management and investors.
To support its own software offerings, TOP wanted a high-performance project management tool for improving R&D processes and reducing development cycle time for timelier new feature and update releases.
Since the company didn’t have a robust IT structure, TOP was also looking for a technology partner that could help identify the best path forward and implement the solution for the company.

To parallel the innovation the company infuses in its own solutions, TOP chose to implement an SAP Cloud ERP solution for its speed of installation, reliability, and opportunity for growth over time. The company participated in the GROW with SAP for scaleups program for this implementation. The program offers startups such as TOP a cloud solution package that covers its core needs for the first six months at no cost and provides access to the SAP ecosystem and partners.
In addition, TOP implemented SAP Business Technology Platform to support its third-party applications and future ecosystem scalability. As an AI-driven company, TOP was also happy to utilize the generative AI capabilities of Joule, SAP’s AI copilot, throughout the implementation.
For the implementation, TOP chose to work with SAP partner AYMAX Consulting S.A. Right from the start, AYMAX understood TOP’s business challenges as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider and its long-term vision for growth. The AYMAX team provided guidance, direction, and support for a sustainable, scalable solution from project planning through to deployment and training.
With SAP Cloud ERP, TOP now has a powerful, enterprise-wide solution with centralized dashboards to support its finance and controlling operations, project management, sales and distribution, and purchasing. “As a startup, we were able to take advantage of SAP’s fit-to-standard cloud software implementation methodology,” says Amine Menacer, CTO and founder of TOP. “This provided us with an affordable framework for automating our business, financial, and product processes that didn’t require customization.”
TOP has a robust structure for its accounting and finances, with automated closes each month, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) compliance, and real-time reporting, which is essential for its investors. The company can also track its licenses and consulting services with automated contract and billing processes. For project management, the company can now track internal R&D sprints, client implementations, and resource allocation all within one system.

Embracing the future today to accelerate profitability and success
For TOP, the partnership with AYMAX and the recommended SAP solutions were the perfect combination to accelerate the company’s journey toward a successful future. TOP now has a stable, standardized financial foundation that enables the company’s management team to focus on growth initiatives. With centralized dashboards, the team can make faster decisions based on real-time data. Finance no longer uses tedious spreadsheets to manage processes, and the automated processes have reduced monthly financial closing cycle time from 15 days to 3. Procurement and invoicing processing efficiency has improved by 40%, with smoother processes for TOP’s staff and its customers.
“From a project management perspective, we are saving management time so we can focus more on customer delivery,” says Menacer. “We have also improved the visibility into our production capacity, so we are more efficient in managing our growth and customer portfolio.”
In addition, R&D productivity has improved, with release time shortened from an average of 12 weeks to 9. This has reduced delays in product releases and allowed for more time to focus on new feature and module development, such as AI agents for the HR sector, as part of its solution.
“We’ve improved our company management, which not only helps improve profitability but also makes it easier to meet the needs of current and future investors,” says Menacer. “In addition, we can be more precise about our availability for acquiring new customer projects.”
Thanks to guidance and support from AYMAX on best practices, the implementation was quick and smooth, with a completion time of two months.

Continuing on a path of accelerated innovation and market leadership
TOP plans to continue its partnership with AYMAX to take advantage of future automated AI and machine learning capabilities as they are available in its SAP solutions. “We also want to bring more innovation to our business functions with other capabilities in SAP Cloud ERP and focus on process automation and optimization to improve our efficiency,” says Menacer. “And we are looking forward to improving our skills for using the solution through additional training.”
The company is also evaluating the SAP Analytics Cloud solution to use for advanced reporting and the SAP SuccessFactors HCM portfolio to help manage its talent and the HR data of its clients.
