  • Build Solutions – For partners that design, develop, and build applications, software, hardware, and integrated solutions based on SAP platforms and technology. If you're an ISV, developer, or even looking to bundle or embed SAP technologies with your own via an OEM relationship – Build is probably for you.
  • Sell Solutions – For partners that resell SAP solutions whether on-premise or in the cloud. It's likely your company manages the entire customer lifecycle, including demand, sales, and implementation. You are entitled to provide maintenance and support services after successfully completing the appropriate requirements. This model includes, but is not limited to, partners such as VARs and resellers.
  • Service Solutions – Intended for partners that provide consulting and implementation services to customers through the design, development, implementation, and integration of SAP solutions.
  • Run Solutions – Many customers are moving away from on-premise solutions for their IT infrastructure and towards hosted solutions managed and run by third parties. This model is ideal if you want to manage and run SAP software and services on behalf of your customer whether deployed in a public or your own private cloud.

The program costs €2,000 to join, plus the low cost of your development licenses and resources (many development licenses are provided free of charge!).  
 

Sell SAP Solutions

This engagement model is designed for partners that resell SAP solutions. Your organization may manage the entire customer lifecycle, including demand, sales, and implementation. You are entitled to provide maintenance and support services after successfully completing the appropriate requirements. This model includes, but is not limited to, partners such as value-added resellers (VARs) and resellers.

Gain access to our industry-leading solution portfolio – and offer customers the benefits of working with a local partner who is familiar with their specific business needs. At SAP we offer two ways to join our partner ecosystem as a sales partner:

  • SAP PartnerEdge: Sell – This model is the ideal fit for value-added resellers (VARs). VARs do more than just sell alone; they build, sell, service, and implement our solutions across all industries that meet the needs of customers in the SME market and beyond. This option gives you access to SAP's full portfolio of solutions, a tiered program with deepening benefits and a value points system that recognizes and rewards you for more than just business performance but also competency, and strategic alignment. There are annual program fees and you'll need to meet the minimum entry and ongoing requirements to become and remain authorized to sell.
  • SAP PartnerEdge Open Ecosystem: Sell – An ideal way to begin your reselling relationship with SAP.  Once you join you will be able to sell, service, and market SAP-approved products available through our distributor channel. It's free to join but some of your sales and presales staff will need to complete our free training to become authorized to begin selling.

Entry Requirements

There are two ways you can join SAP as a sales partner – work directly with SAP to gain access to the full array of benefits and solutions a fully-fledged SAP PartnerEdge Sell partner. Or join the SAP PartnerEdge Open Ecosystem: Sell model and work with one of our distributors to resell a sub-set of the solutions portfolio. Entry and ongoing requirements into the SAP PartnerEdge Open Ecosystem are less than the SAP PartnerEdge agreement, however this is reflected in the level of benefits and the potential revenue and growth opportunities.

  • SAP PartnerEdge: Service – This is the ideal fit for established and proven service consultancies and systems integrators (SI’s). Our tiered program has deepening benefits and a Value Points system that rewards you for more than just business performance, such as competency and strategic alignment.
