HR Data Management Associate

The HR Data Management team is truly a unique place to work. It is an embodiment of both HR and technology. Each day, I feel pushed out of my comfort zone by my colleagues and manager. Since I joined the company, I have been given countless opportunities to take leads on initiatives, lead projects, stakeholder calls, and much more.
Whenever I think back in time, just five years ago, I was like many other college students. I contemplated a lot about what was the right career path for me. Whenever my parents asked, my answer would change as frequently as the weather. Despite it all, I knew deep down that I was interested in emerging technologies and how they impact and transform our daily lives. Unlike some of my close friends back in the States, I never saw my career as a clear-cut path nor a linear journey. My struggles to figure out which career path to choose followed me well after graduation. Interestingly enough this uncertainty led me to entertain the idea of moving abroad, to explore another country, and what it has to offer. That is how I ended up in Prague.
During my time as an undergrad, SAP was known at my school for being a top employer and highly regarded by my friends and classmates as a good place to work. The insights and feedback that I had gotten gave me reassurance that SAP was a place where I could grow and meet others who are highly accomplished in their industry. That is why I decided to apply for the HR Data Management Associate position when I saw the opening on LinkedIn. Initially, I was not sure what to expect in this role. I had a broad idea of the responsibilities and knew that I would learn and work with SAP software such as SAP SuccessFactors. However, I did not envision the rich learning journey I would embark on during the short year I have been here.
The HR Data Management team is truly a unique place to work. It is an embodiment of both HR and technology. Each day, I feel pushed out of my comfort zone by my colleagues and manager. Since I joined the company, I have been given countless opportunities to take leads on initiatives, lead projects, stakeholder calls, and much more. Furthermore, I also got various opportunities to work on innovative projects that help drive SAP's HR software, and the company’s mission to migrate to cloud. In the long run, I know the contribution I’ve made to my own team will also help many other external customers and as a result, help makes the world run better. I truly enjoy the supportive environment that SAP has to offer as well as the endless growth opportunities. I am grateful for the chance to work at such an innovative company and am very excited about what the future has to offer!
