However, AI may also create economic, political, and societal challenges, depending on how it is used and implemented. Our SAP Global AI Ethics Policy therefore governs the development, deployment, use, and sale of AI systems at SAP by defining clear rules of ethics based on UNESCO’s “Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence” and other frameworks. By aligning to internationally recognized principles, we further reinforce our dedication to proportionality, safety, fairness, sustainability, privacy, human oversight, transparency, awareness, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to deliver relevant, reliable, and responsible AI solutions.
