Co-Innovation and Certification
Certify your hardware
With our hardware certification services, customers gain the confidence that your hardware works effectively with SAP solutions.
SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) tests and certifies hardware appliances, storage solutions, and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platforms that support SAP HANA. Testing is also conducted on peripherals, appliances, and devices such as sensors and IoT gateways for integration with SAP Business Technology Platform.
Printer vendors can take advantage of the SAP Printer Vendor program to help ensure ongoing compatibility of device types with SAP solutions.
Hardware and IaaS Certification for SAP HANA
Appliance and enterprise storage solutions certified by SAP help ensure customers can unlock the full potential of SAP HANA.
- Enterprise storage solutions
- Hardware appliance solutions for SAP HANA
- Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platforms for SAP HANA
Each scenario uses a unique testing procedure to determine whether the hardware meets the performance criteria required to run SAP HANA in production.
Once testing concludes successfully, the partner receives a letter that details the certification's validity date of the certification. A certification logo is also provided, which can be used in online and printed communications.
In addition, the fully certified appliance hardware is listed in the online hardware directory for SAP HANA. This gives the partner exposure to thousands of customers that visit SAP.com every day.
Charge Point Integration Certification for SAP E-Mobility
Using data from multiple charge points, the SAP E-Mobility solution enables end-to-end electric vehicle supply equipment and charging operations.
The push for electric vehicles may have shifted into overdrive. But supporting new business models based on e-mobility requires an overhaul of the entire mobility ecosystem beyond the setup and management of charging stations. SAP is working with a wide array of hardware partners to integrate the charging infrastructure with processes.
SAP E-Mobility enables companies across multiple industries to build and run charging networks. The charge point‒agnostic solution helps organisations set up and operate heterogeneous charging infrastructure from multiple electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) vendors.
As a result, relevant charging sessions and charge point data can be captured to trigger related business processes, including session billing and EVSE maintenance according to business and operation role. In addition, energy data is integrated to optimise the charging process and overcome grid limitations.
Device Certification for SAP IoT
Using information from sensors and other smart devices, the technical capabilities of the SAP Internet of Things (SAP IoT) solution are transforming business models.
As always-on connectivity expands across the globe, businesses must find new ways to use the IoT to work smarter, improve jobs, and delight customers. SAP IoT provides a comprehensive IoT solution stack built on SAP Business Technology Platform, inlcuding the SAP Cloud Platform Mobile IoT Gateway app.
SAP IoT enables customers and partners to develop, customise, and operate IoT business applications in the cloud. Core technical services are provided to process device data at a high velocity with streaming analytics and device management capabilities.
Partners can establish a secure connection to remote devices by using a wide range of IoT protocols and manage the device lifecycle from onboarding to decommissioning. In addition, sensor data can be collected and processed at scale, either at the edge or in the cloud, and stored on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) for use by other applications.
SAP works with a wide array of SAP hardware partners and device vendors to pretest and certify devices and IoT integrations with SAP BTP.
SAP Printer Vendor
SAP collaborates with leading printer manufacturers to combine the best printer features with SAP technology, benefitting mutual customers.
Customers rely on SAP to get the full benefit from their IT investment, including printers. Modern printers offer important new features, such as communicating status to a centralised monitoring function within SAP software, enabling a rapid reaction to problems, and optimising cost-effective maintenance.
Through the SAP Printer Vendor program, partners can co-develop solutions for broader support of printer models used with SAP software. Printer model and device type combinations developed under the program are listed online.
