Build Your Best with the SAP Design System
New releases across our design system resources and UI kits help you build your best with the SAP Design System.
This was an exciting year for SAP Design at Sapphire. We were honored to have so many design colleagues on stages across the Sapphire conference sharing all of the great benefits and advancements of the SAP Design System. Not only is the system a key enabler of SAP’s goal of achieving a suite-first approach, but also in allowing SAP customers to build, customize, and extend their SAP apps and platforms like never before.
Here are some of the major announcements recapped from the Sapphire stage.
Introducing a whole new experience for the SAP Design System portal. The new site takes all of the current and past versions of the SAP Fiori Design Guidelines and brings them together with lots of other resources—a one-stop-shop for all your design and development needs. Benefits of the new release include:
- A new homepage and navigation for you to easily access all design foundations, components, and technologies
- A comprehensive searchable library of all components and patterns for each platform
- A simplified way for you to access all past versions of guidelines
- A new look and feel, along with fresh content and landing pages to guide your journey
- Enhanced performance and faster page load times
- Support and guidance on how to stay up to date with the latest developments
We’re also excited to announce SAP Design System UI kits available on Figma. UI kits help designers build faster and more efficiently, while keeping UX consistency. Designers and developers can now access UI kits for all our platforms, including Web, Android, and iOS. We also have tools for performance and accessibility. These UI kits are a major step in helping customers design faster, more efficiently, and with a foundation of accessibility from the start. Because we know that when designers have better tools, products have better outcomes.
This truly is a new era for SAP Design, helping both SAP and our customers get the most out of SAP’s suite-first approach by building their best. Please explore the SAP Design System portal, and make sure to access the SAP Design System UI Kits on Figma.
