Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft

Satya Nadella is Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. Before being named CEO in February 2014, Nadella held leadership roles in both enterprise and consumer businesses across the company. Joining Microsoft in 1992, he quickly became known as a leader who could span a breadth of technologies and businesses to transform some of Microsoft’s biggest product offerings. Most recently, Nadella was executive vice president of Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group. In this role he led the transformation to the cloud infrastructure and services business, which outperformed the market and took share from competition. Previously, Nadella led R&D for the Online Services Division and was vice president of the Microsoft Business Division. Before joining Microsoft, Nadella was a member of the technology staff at Sun Microsystems. Originally from Hyderabad, India, Nadella lives in Bellevue, Washington. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Mangalore University, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. Nadella serves on the board of trustees to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and his alma mater the University of Chicago, as well as the Starbucks board of directors. He is married and has three children. 

Dr. Roland Busch, Deputy CEO, Siemens

Dr. Roland Busch is Deputy CEO of Siemens, a technology company that focuses on the backbone of economies: manufacturing, infrastructure, transport and healthcare. He joined Siemens because he is passionate about applying technology to solve the world’s biggest challenges. From more agile factories to intelligent buildings and grids, to sustainable transportation and better healthcare, Siemens technologies transform the everyday. Roland’s nearly three decades at Siemens span industries and regions - from automotive supply to the Internet of Things, from Erlangen to Shanghai. He studied physics at Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany – where he also received his doctorate – and at the University of Grenoble in France.

Jodi Monelle, Founder and CEO, LIVEKINDLY

Jodi Monelle is Founder and CEO of the leading plant based media company, LIVEKINDLY. Jodi is focused on empowering people to make positive changes - big or small - in their own lives and show how their daily actions make a difference in the world. Prior to founding LIVEKINDLY, Jodi held positions across the media and technology sectors. Jodi is a board member of the Plant Based World Conference & Expo. 

Kees Kruythoff, Chairman and CEO, LIVEKINDLY Collective

Kees is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the LIVEKINDLY co., a former Unilever senior executive, who lived and worked across all five continents from Europe to South Africa, from China to Brazil, from the USA back to London. In the last eight years he was part of the global Unilever executive team. He currently also serves as the Chairman of Enactus and Mr. Green Africa, a Nairobi-based recycling start-up. Kees has five daughters and lives in Europe.

Where is RISE with SAP: The Introduction taking place?

This is a free virtual event. It will be streamed on January 27, 2021, on sap.com: sap.com/rise-with-sap. It will also be streamed on our social media channels..

Is this an all-day event?

No. On January 27, 2021, there will be a live address and Q&A with SAP CEO Christian Klein, starting at 10:00 a.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. CET. There will also be on-demand tech exploration sessions released the same day, as well as a partner opportunity session. We invite you to save the date and join us live with Christian on the digital stage.

Can I access the sessions later?

Yes. We will host the on-demand replays of all sessions – including Christian Klein’s address, a Q&A discussion, tech explorations, and the partner opportunity session – all on sap.com: sap.com/rise-with-sap.

How do I register or sign up for RISE with SAP: The Introduction?

This is a free, open virtual event – no registration is required. We invite all SAP customers, prospects, licensed partners, sponsors, media, analysts, and employees to save the date and join us live with
SAP CEO Christian Klein on the digital stage.

We will accept questions through a chat channel just before and during the Q&A session. Join us for Christian’s address at 10:00 a.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. CET on January 27, 2021 on sap.com to submit your question.

Will this event be offered in English only?

The event will be streaming with English audio. Subtitles will be available in recorded sessions after the event.

Will my company’s firewall be a problem?

In most cases firewalls will not pose a problem. You should be able to participate in the entire event even if your company has a firewall in place.
