Business analysts and cost accountants can use this Joule feature to view amounts allocated across the same or different types of objects, such as cost objects, profitability objects, or profit centers. The user can choose to see amounts allocated from an object, to an object, or from one object to another—for example, from a cost center to a customer group. The results can be quickly navigated to the corresponding allocation run job, allowing the user to review the detailed run report of the allocation that took place. This streamlined access makes it easier and faster to obtain the right information, particularly in cases where allocation architectures are complex and analyzing all possible run jobs is challenging. Having a complete list of allocation runs in which an object was used also provides an efficient tool for assessing potential impacts, especially when organizational changes are under consideration.
