With the help of a 'SAP Analytics Cloud'-dashboard, you will get a view on the impact on the overall result and the drivers that are causing changes. Also the impact on the standard cost prices is split by price, quantity or mixed impact.

Overview

Prepare multiple forecast and budget scenarios

The solution allows the user to create multiple budget/forecast versions, based on changing market prices and use of different resources. You can, for example, make a version to view the impact of a raw material price increase, make another version to calculate the impact of increase in resources, labour hours, energy etc.

Visualize the impact on the total 'profit and loss'-level and or on SKU level

Variances are visualized on a company level, but an easy drill down to a single SKU is also possible. The dashboard provides an overview of the impact on the overall result and the drivers that are causing changes.

Save time with on the fly and performant reporting

Users are not occupied with data gathering or complex calculations, instead, they can just analyze the result. Standard reports are available highlighting the changes.

The user can choose any cost estimate from SAP. The detailed BOM’s are imported and are available for simulations. There’s no need to load data through files which significantly reduces the time spent and running the risk of having incorrect data.

On the one hand, choose the cost estimate you want to use and on the other hand, choose the budget/forecast version you want to use it for. The correct data will be copied into the chosen version(s).

Easily apply assumptions by changing prices, component quantities or resources

Prices can be changed to any currency and changes are on the fly converted to other rates. A change in raw materials will immediately be applied to all products using that material. It takes a few seconds for a user to make changes and all product costs will be recalculated in detail.
