At SAP, empowering our customers to be best-run starts from within. With the rollout of the consolidated SAP Store earlier this year, we introduced a platform that provides one simple interface for customers to access both SAP and partner apps – built on SAP technology. At the heart is SAP Commerce Cloud, which provides extensibility and expandability. The new user interface was built using Spartacus, providing a bridge between single-page applications and content management capabilities. We’ve also used Kyma, to ensure agility and scalability, while extending the more monolithic parts of our platform.

While the use of the technology previously noted would have worked end-to-end, we made sure to also use SAP Integration Suite, aligning product data maintenance with SAP standard procedures. All of this was fully integrated and covered by test automation. As our first customer, we solve issues across our enterprise with SAP software, and learn, improve, and innovate as we go.
