SAP Joule for Developers, ABAP AI capabilities combines all the features to support full-stack development in ABAP Cloud and is fully integrated into the ABAP Development Tools (ADT) for Eclipse and VS Code. It offers a range of features, among them real-time code completion, explanations of development objects, and unit test generation, while remaining context-aware. Beyond code assistance, Joule now operates agentically: instead of merely explaining, completing, or generating ABAP code in isolation, existing ABAP AI capabilities evolve into skills used by an autonomous orchestrator. This includes a built-in ABAP MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, enabling seamless coordination across tools and contexts. As a result, customers can adopt AI with confidence, operate it responsibly, and realize measurable, sustainable business value.
