Activation service for SAP HANA Cloud

  • Includes:

    • Knowledge transfer sessions covering:

      • Administration, monitoring, and user management tooling
      • Development guidelines, tooling, and security
      • Artificial Intelligence (AI), spatial capabilities, and hybrid scenarios with SAP HANA Cloud, data lake (when subscribed by customer)
    • Configuration of one (1) SAP HANA Cloud instance and creation of five (5) users.

    • Support the creation of a second SAP HANA Cloud instance (QA).

    • Integration with one (1) supported SAP or non-SAP data source.

    • Development of one (1) data model based on a predefined scenario.

    • Configuration of SAP Business Application Studio to access Git repository for version management.

    • Deployment of the developed objects to the QA instance.

    • Final deliverables include:

      • Knowledge transfer materials
      • Service documentation:
      • Documentation of the data modeling exercise
      • Documentation of integration between SAP HANA Cloud and SAP HANA Cloud, data lake (if applicable)
  • Prerequisites:

    • Customer has a valid cloud subscription for the following:

      • SAP HANA Cloud
      • SAP HANA Cloud, data lake (optional)
      • SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
      • SAP Business Application Studio
      • SAP BTP, Neo environment (optional, for SAP Git service)
    • Cloud service is provisioned.

    • System landscape requirements:

      • Customer provides access to the following tiered system landscape: Development System, Test System.
      • The Customer is responsible for configuring and ensuring operational readiness of prerequisite systems (SAP or non-SAP source systems, Git repository) along with the necessary authorizations.
    • Customer provides the following information:

      • User access credentials for SAP Business Technology Platform Cloud Services.
      • Credentials to either an SAP or a non-SAP system for which the connection will be created.
