Expertise
Services and specializations by product area
The BENS Server provides an outstanding solution for receiving and forwarding print jobs from various systems such as Windows and SAP. For printing through the BENS Server, SAP systems have the choice between connection types "U" or "E". The BENS plugin "BENS OMS" has been certified by SAP specifically for use with connection type "E". The certificate, providing insight into the quality and conformity of the plugin, can be viewed at the following link: www.suchymips.de/Certificate. BENS OMS has been fully implemented according to the SAP BC-XOM specification and supports both the command-line interface and the polling as well as callback interfaces for optimal adaptation to individual requirements.
In addition to the certification of the "BENS OMS" plugin, "BENS OMS PANEL", the OMS/XOM Extension for Printer for SAP has also received certification from SAP. With the features of BENS OMS PANEL printer definitions and OMS definitions need to be maintained only once on the OMS system. With the extension it is possible to distribute the definitions automatically via RFC to the connected SAP systems provided they are on a release that supports BC-XOM Extension for Printer Administration
• All printers in SAP systems can be managed through a convenient WEB interface.
• Configurations, extensions, and changes can be simultaneously transferred to multiple SAP systems in one step.
• Documents intended for printing can be tracked.
• The system reduces administrative time.
