DE:As part of SAP's CAPISCE project, Dr Rudi Herterich was involved in the development of the SAP industry solution Production Planning for the Process Industry (PP-PI) and supervised the first productive implementation in a GMP-critical environment. The in-depth SAP and industry expertise that he and his team had acquired in many SAP projects for leading pharmaceutical companies led him to set up his own consultancy, DHC Dr. Herterich und Consultants GmbH, in Saarbrücken in 1996. In response to the increasing demands for the validation of computer systems, DHC soon developed a process-oriented approach to the implementation and validation of SAP systems in the life sciences industry. More than 25 years later, DHC is one of the leading consulting companies for transformation and software validation or GxP compliance of SAP ERP and public cloud/SaaS systems (e.g. SAP DM) as well as QM with SAP in the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology and medical technology.

CH:Since 1996, Dr. Herterich und Consultants GmbH, Saarbrücken, Germany, has been providing life science support services to the Swiss pharmaceutical and medical technology industry. In 1999, the high demand for these services led to the establishment of DHC Ltd. as an independent subsidiary in Switzerland. Since then, our aim has been to provide our customers in Switzerland with competent and effective support through our local specialists. We can now look back on more than 20 years of consultancy work in Switzerland and Austria and many successful projects with our clients in the life sciences sector.
