SAP Announces New AI Capabilities Across the Business Transformation Management Portfolio

SAP introduces new AI features across the Business Transformation Management portfolio, including SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX, and WalkMe solutions. These three solution areas work together to help IT and business leaders more easily manage their entire transformation journey, from quickly identifying and quantifying the potential value of transformation to securing user adoption.

New AI Assistance for SAP Signavio

General availability for the following latest capabilities is planned for Q4 2025:

  • AI-assisted transformation advisor: Analyzes financial and other business-related documents while spotting opportunities for innovation and process optimization that transformation leads can act upon.

SAP Signavio Showcases New Features to Drive Process Excellence

SAP announces a slate of new SAP Signavio product capabilities that will enable customers to more deeply understand and assess their business processes, including automated root cause analysis, application lifecycle management (ALM), new support for corporate sustainability initiatives, and more.

  • Automated root cause analysis (RCA): Provides process analysts with a more effective way to identify the factors impacting specific process metrics. Using RCA, analysts can better understand why process performance indicators are off target, test plausible hypotheses in the data, and rank the findings by improvement potential. This can drastically increase customers’ precision in identifying the source of inefficiencies and help eliminate the need for manual investigation. General availability is planned for Q2 2025.

  • Value analysis for the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Manager solution: Helps systematically quantify the potential value associated with improving specific business processes, making it easier to develop business cases for transformation initiatives. Already a feature in the SAP Signavio Process Intelligence solution, this capability is now also available in the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Manager and SAP Signavio Process Insights solutions, making it accessible to a wider range of business users. General availability is planned for Q2 2025.

  • Enhanced integration between SAP Signavio with SAP Cloud ALM: Offers near real-time mapping of ALM data into business processes within SAP Signavio. Planned innovations focus on extending lifecycle control, introducing business-driven, fit-to-standard workshops, and harmonizing process hierarchies for cohesive process modeling. General availability is planned for Q4 2025.

  • Enhanced integration between SAP Signavio and SAP Solution Manager: Enables faster, easier, and more accurate data synchronization between the two solutions. This planned innovation also offers broader synchronization, covering collapsed subprocesses, accurate process identification, and enhanced mapping flexibility. General availability is planned for Q4 2025.

Sustainability Impact Analysis

To help businesses streamline sustainability processes, strengthen regulatory compliance, and drive sustainability at scale, SAP is embedding sustainability impact metrics—such as the ability to track and analyze carbon emissions across business processes—into the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite.

General availability for the following capabilities is planned for Q4 2025:

  • Access to SAP Signavio Value Accelerators package: Will help deliver prebuilt process models and industry best practices, helping businesses efficiently manage regulatory-specific processes and scale sustainability initiatives.

  • SAP Signavio Process Intelligence: Helps analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve sustainability management, exploring synergies with SAP Sustainability solutions.
