At SAP, we believe that when you bring everything you are, you can become everything you want.
"I took away from my experience and it is that, it does not take much to be happy, not sweat the little things and take time for the things you love. I am proud to work for a company that helps the world run better and improves people’s lives.
"Since my social sabbatical in Uganda I try to live my life with a little more ‘Hakuna matata’ which roughly translated, is Swahili for ‘No worries’. People have asked me what I took away from my experience and it is that, it does not take much to be happy, not sweat the little things and take time for the things you love. Despite daily hardships of no electricity, running water, and the heartbreaking fight against disease, there was always music in the streets and markets of Hoima, the small town where we stayed. I volunteered to be part of this initiative because I wanted to give back instead, I received so much more than I gave. I am proud to work for a company that helps the world run better and improves people’s lives."
