Overview
Smart Predict uses predictive scenarios — classification, regression, and time series forecasting — to answer business questions with data-driven predictions. Each scenario lets you create, evaluate, and compare multiple models, then select the best one. You can apply the chosen model to new data to generate accurate and actionable insights that can be surfaced into stories to serve your analytics and planning needs. In addition, you can also leverage Smart Predict to generate Smart Boundaries for compass simulations: Utilizing historical data, Smart Predict could forecast the range of uncertainty in driver performances, providing the boundaries necessary for a subsequent Monte Carlo Simulation.
