Featured highlights
Horizon themes
The Horizon visual themes are now available in SAP Analytics Cloud. These themes are part of the broader SAP Fiori design system, they represent a major evolution in SAP’s user experience strategy, aiming to deliver a modern, intuitive, and accessible user experience that supports productivity and ease of use. Their experience remains consistent as users move between SAP Analytics Cloud and other SAP products.
Morning and Evening Horizon, light and dark, as well as High Contrast Horizon, white and black themes are all available for SAP Analytics Cloud users to edit their profile and personalize the system appearance.
My metrics
My metrics is a new feature allowing SAP Analytics Cloud users to create and manage lists of key performance indicators with their associated standard visualizations for quick access. With a dedicated card on the home page, users can easily monitor and visualize data changes without navigating to stories.
SAP Analytics Cloud users can create, manage, and share multiple lists, and they can enlist new KPIs directly from stories. The my metrics feature streamlines business performance monitoring by highlighting KPIs that may need prompt attention.
Seamless planning
Two new features were added to seamless planning. First, the live version feature that brings live SQL data into models without replication now also supports live access to data in SAP Datasphere from a seamless planning model. Live data shows using a separate version dimension element in the planning model. This innovation streamlines further seamless planning and variance analysis in SAP Analytics Cloud.
The second innovation enables the scheduling of SAP Analytics Cloud stories based on live connections to SAP Datasphere, provided both systems are in a unified customer landscape formation with a tunnel connection. This applies to both SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud tenants.
Factory calendar
SAP Analytics Cloud planners can now schedule task series using a custom working day calendar based on a custom property representing workdays as an attribute in a model time dimension. The system automatically creates task occurrences at the chosen frequency – daily, weekly, or monthly – on working days only, avoiding weekends, public holidays, and company breaks in a factory calendar which may follow country-specific or location-based regulations. The Gantt chart displays both working and non-working days when looking at the schedules on the calendar.
Model statistics and analysis
For administrators and system owners of SAP Analytics Cloud, maintaining a high-performing and stable environment is a top priority. As organizations expand their use of SAP Analytics Cloud, managing the underlying data volumes becomes increasingly important.
A new pre-built story for model size statistics and analysis empowers them with full control over their SAP Analytics Cloud data footprint. They instantly identify the largest data models, analyze their composition, and uncover version-level insights, even in massive datasets. They can monitor growth trends, correlate spikes with system actions, and they are better equipped to take proactive actions before reaching system limits.
