SAP Labs Germany Dresden
At SAP Labs Dresden, 1,000 professionals from 31 countries aim to bring human-centered co-innovation to market on a local and global scale. SAP Labs Germany Munich
SAP Munich is at the beginning of a new, exciting era—furthering our tradition of collaboration with the Munich ecosystem. Our goal is to be a leading innovation hub in commerce, Industry 4.0, and sustainability. To that end, SAP recently sealed a first-of-its-kind partnership with Technical University Munich (TUM), including the construction of a new SAP Labs office for more than 700 researchers on the campus.

SAP Labs India is the fastest-growing location within the network and the largest R&D center outside SAP’s headquarters in Walldorf, Germany. Founded in 1998, SAP Labs India represents the entire breadth of SAP’s portfolio, drives SAP’s global product strategy and core solutions, and provides localized products and solutions. Its end-to-end suite of applications and services enables businesses across 25 industries globally to operate profitably, adapt continuously, and make a difference.
SAP Labs Japan
Located in Tokyo, the capital city and center of economic dynamism in Japan, SAP Labs Japan partners with Japanese companies to shape a future where the cyber-physical system helps businesses run better and improves people’s lives. Its primary focus is on digital supply chain and manufacturing, co-innovation with strategic customers, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
SAP Labs Korea
As a key development location, SAP Labs Korea innovates and builds SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Analytics Cloud for planning. The organization provides quality engineering and customer-facing support for the SAP HANA database and analytics and leads co-innovation with customers at SAP AppHaus Seoul.
SAP Labs China
Established in 2003, SAP Labs China is a strategic R&D hub of SAP, playing a vital role in many of SAP’s core solutions. Headquartered in Shanghai with R&D presence in Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Nanjing, and Xi’an, SAP Labs China drives fast-paced innovation through strong technical expertise and delivery capabilities. Guided by the vision “Innovate in China for China and the world,” SAP Labs China is entering a new phase of sustainable excellence.
SAP Labs Vietnam
SAP Labs Vietnam’s vision is to accelerate SAP’s portfolio development and turn SAP’s strategic goals into reality. The intention is to become a key location for product engineering and a trusted partner for enterprise application support.

SAP Labs Israel
Founded in 1998, SAP Labs Israel plays a central role in executing SAP Business AI strategy and leading innovations in multi-cloud strategy, user experience, and privacy. It developed some of the company’s main products, including SAP BTP, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Build, and SAP Customer Data Platform. The team combines deep tech expertise with an innovation-driven mindset, working closely with startups, academia, and partners across the tech ecosystem.
