This group creates standards, processes, and tools for IT governance topics such as security and quality management. They execute rollouts, training, and coaching. They liaise with service partners. And they align IT services with business objectives.   

This team makes the magic happen. SAP developers work shoulder to shoulder with other top engineering talent to design, implement, and maintain the modules and features of the SAP product line – including architecture, applications, and solutions.   

The user experience (UX) design team creates, evaluates, and modifies UX prototypes to support evolving software development. They develop user profiles with emphasis on human error control, visual interaction, physical manipulation, and task and objective analysis.   

The teams have a special focus on quality assurance and test-related tasks within the product creation process to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for SAP software. They define, analyze, and implement quality strategies, debug, analyze results, create test landscapes, and so on.

At SAP, we are combining the strengths of research and development to benefit new products and strategic topics. Teams interact with leading colleagues and manage project governance of publicly funded projects, handling ecosystems and relationships with stakeholders from academia and governments.

The development operations team builds and operates environments for our cloud customers, and helps ensure delivery according to service level agreements. It supports smooth system operations across the software lifecycle while maximizing the uptime and performance of cloud software.

This team is responsible for the success, quality, costs, and delivery of a product. It builds road maps, drives product vision, helps ensure product delivery, and decides about in-house developments, purchases, or partnerships on product level. In addition, the team works in close collaboration with other teams in areas such as release and solution management, production, and customer support.
