Higher level, bigger benefits

There are two program levels: silver and gold. The silver entry level entitles you to an impressive set of program benefits that increase as you advance to the gold level through our unique Value Points system. It's simple: the more points, the higher the level and the bigger the benefits.

Points that make prizes

Earn Value Points for your business performance and competency, and acceleration points for strategic alignment on key topics or solutions. You get recognised for your total business contribution across all the engagement models you've joined. Total Value Points determine your program level. 

Money for marketing

Partners at the gold level can accrue market development funds as a percentage of SAP software license or subscription sales. You can use this money to pay for qualifying marketing and demand-generation activities, as well as for select services found in our online partner benefits catalog.

The Cloud Choice

The profit option for the SAP PartnerEdge Cloud Choice program helps partners establish a successful cloud practice with lower liabilities and risks.

While SAP continues to offer on-premise solutions, the new reality is that over 90% of businesses are using cloud technology in a public, private, or hybrid environment, providing a rapidly growing opportunity for your business. With a traditional resell model, the partner manages virtually every aspect of the transaction. However, with the profit option for SAP PartnerEdge Cloud Choice, SAP minimises your risk by taking on contracting, invoicing, and payment collection while providing a predictable revenue stream that goes right towards your bottom line.

Predictable profits

We remove the guess work by giving you generous payments over the life of the contract, including renewals. You will receive 20% payback* on the annual contract value for net new deals and upsells and 15% on renewals to customers in the SME market.

Reduced risk

Eliminate street discount risk and partner liability concerns and exposure because the customer’s service level agreement is with SAP. You will also be awarded Value Points for all deals – which counts towards your level and depth of benefits in the SAP PartnerEdge program. 

Owning the customer lifecycle

You remain responsible for implementation and end-to-end account and opportunity management during the customer lifecycle. Your customer signs an SAP contract for the subscription and we invoice the customer annually. You get paid after the customer pays SAP.  

Flexible customer billing options

In addition to the annual billing, you can offer your customer a quarterly billing option if that approach works better for them. After all, cloud is all about choice!

SAP Recognised Expertise designations describe a specialisation and depth of expertise in an industry, an SAP solution, or both. To attain a designation, you’ll need to meet specific employee training and certification standards, and demonstrate customer success. Along with other benefits, using the logo for SAP Recognised Expertise can differentiate your business from the competition, demonstrate a high level of competence, and instill confidence in your prospects and customers.

An SAP Recognised Expertise designation shows your customers not only your level of expertise, but also demonstrates that you have successfully worked with other companies to deliver value in a particular industry or solution area.

Become a recognised expert

To gain the SAP Recognised Expertise designation, your company must clearly demonstrate and meet specific requirements across delivery capability, product competency, and business performance.

Delivery capability

To meet our delivery capability criteria, you must meet or exceed a certain number of customer references or validated projects related to a specific solution or industry.

Product competency

We require that companies achieving SAP Recognised Expertise designation have a number of certified consultants for a specific solution or industry competence. Consultants must have a qualification from our eligible certifications list. 

Business performance

You will be asked to provide detailed business development information specific to each expertise. Information required includes go-to-market planning and evidence of successful execution of jointly-defined plans.

Continual monitoring

If you are successful, your SAP Recognised Expertise designation will be valid for one year. We will extend the designation following biannual checks to make sure that all requirements continue to be met. 

Support Delivery Options

Providing ongoing support for an on-premise solution is a critical part of the customer lifecycle, and a healthy addition to your bottom line.
At SAP, we let you decide whether to resell SAP Enterprise Support services or gain Partner Center of Expertise certification to deliver support directly to the customer yourself.  Whatever option you choose, the outcome for the customer will always be the same: high-quality support for their solution. 

Deliver support yourself

Providing support to customers directly offers a recurring revenue stream, helps strengthen customer relationships, and often presents ideal situations to sell additional licenses and consulting services. However, it requires a significant investment on your part.
 
To be eligible, you must first gain Partner Center of Expertise certification. This takes up to nine months and requires up-front investment in staff, infrastructure, and training before you can sell any maintenance services. You’ll also need a dedicated support hotline, a professional incident management system, support staff with relevant product certifications, and documented processes for customer onboarding, quality, and escalation measurement.

Resell support services from SAP

Reselling SAP Enterprise Support gives your customers the high service levels they demand. In addition, you’ll reap the rewards of an additional revenue stream without the time and resource investment required to become certified to deliver support direct to the customer yourself.
 
SAP Enterprise Support provides proactive support services to help customers take full advantage of integrated SAP and non-SAP solutions, while minimising risk, accelerating innovation, and addressing application lifecycle management. SAP Enterprise Support helps identify risks before they become issues, provides 24x7 expert support, and includes clear service level agreements, significantly increasing the availability of applications supporting business processes.

* Please note that the 20% payback applies to all eligible products on the indirect price list except for services such as SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, which attracts 10% for net new deals and upsells, and 7.5% for renewals.
