Policies can be defined at the data product, domain and global levels following a federated data governance architecture and are automatically enforced in the semantic layer.

SQL access to core data services
The CDS (ABAP) adapter allows SQL queries against ABAP Core Data Services bringing unrestricted SQL access to all exposed ABAP CDS view entities. Data from different entities can be joined in an ad-hoc fashion and data can be aggregated for analytical queries and consumed by any enterprise tool.
Multi-dimensional adapter for SAP BW/4HANA
The user can import views from SAP BW/4HANA through the BEx Query interface that can include input parameters. It automatically caches the metadata of SAP BW/4HANA to speed up queries to multidimensional base views.
