EPC@GPA is a methodology for "brownfield" conversion projects of an SAP ECC system to SAP S/4HANA with defined timelines and costs EPC@GPA is a methodology for "brownfield" conversion projects of an SAP ECC system to SAP S/4HANA, designed for the Rise
with SAP offer. It is divided into three consecutive phases, called “Evaluation”, “Preparation” and “Conversion”.
The Evaluation Phase allows to identify and manage the possible criticalities of the system conversion with sufficient advance to
ensure its success within the predefined times and costs.
The Preparation phase includes all the preliminary and compulsory activities for Conversion, not included in the Conversion
Package.
The Conversion phase involves performing two or three test conversions of the production system, activating the Business
Partners, adapting custom code,
testing and user training, activating
the FIORI user interface, and
rebuilding the Development and
Quality systems.
